As far as winings paying for my lotto, i get about %25 back on lotto , and %50 from keno. but i spend way too much on keno. sure i have hit 5/6 numbers, but the payout here is only $400 - $800. id need 5+b or straigt 5 on pwerball to be in the money.

My hat is off to you too. Tracking a daily game that has two drawings can keep you busy if you play every drawing. I keep a file on Rolling Cash5 which is played daily but I seldom take the time to accumulate the data unless its jackpot gets to $300K+ and then sometimes it takes so long I don't get a chance to pick any numbers before it's won.

Hey, I honestly hope you get there because it's the only way you'll be able to stay ahead. With so many numbers involved, though...you have my respect for your tireless efforts. My limit is Pick 4 where I'm certain I'll match up X amount of numbers with consistency even when I take that hit here and there. If I can't see where I have to win at some point, and with consistency, that game isn't for me. My hat is off to you, Ronnie, and many others.

That's how I've been play since I matched 5of6 in Ohio's Classic Lotto back in February but if I don't get another decent win soon Ohio is not only going to have their money back but plenty of mine too as they did in February before I won.

I think I would have about $7,000 stashed in a giant piggy bank if I hadn't played. But what else could I have done for entertainment? I don't watch tv other than sports and news. Fictional (books, movies and tv shows) literature is a total bore to me. Inexpensive gambling is good entertainment.

See, now this is what I'm getting at. This is what it's all about when playing the game correctly. You let your winnings (the house) do all the heavy lifting with the money (profit) you've won from them. The best part about this style of play is that even in the event of a loss, you're only giving back part of what you've already won from them anyway.

So, it's not a real loss...rather, an exchange of funds. Am I close with my summary here helpmewin?

It doesn't matter to me. It's entertainment just like anything else I blow money on. It's all the same whether I'm wasting money on drinks, on a movie, etc.

Sometimes I'd be happy just to know I got the winning combination correct regardless of whether I actually played the numbers. If I happened to get it right while playing them that would be a nice bonus... wouldn't turn that down lol.

in todays money about $500 a year, for 25 years , if i had it all now, id put it green 00 on the roulette wheel. at %7 it would have compounded to 34k, but there ws 3 market crashes in that time. so i would prob only have 2500

Well, that's not a fair comparison. At least with a girlfriend and relationship, you're receiving love and affections in return for the same thing. Monetary expenses on her are a gesture of caring and desire to please her.

The lottery only loves to take and doesn't give...loves your money. It could care less if you break up with it because it always has many others to pull your weight.

States are hoping more people play lotteries and they know big jackpots attract more players. The smaller games that pay $50 -$10000 top prize attract thousands of players but million dollars jackpots attract millions of players.

I'm hoping more people will heed my signature and focus more on smaller games. Once I conquer the smaller games that have easier odds, I can then move up to more difficult games. For some strange reason most people have a hard time grasping this. High hopes against unbelievable odds. Positive thinking is one thing, but reality is reality.

You really do have to crawl before you walk. Unless someone who's got it all figured out clues you in.

I only play what I won't miss or regret. I gave up starbucks and that more than covers my playing. And drinking a cup of tea is bettter in the afternoon vs a 2nd cup of coffee. If you have regrets, then you are spending too much.

I spend about $320 a year for Powerball and Megamillions. About $25 a month. For me its not a waste because dinner out would be that much anyway and $25 can go fast. And I win $2 or $3 every once in awhile maybe once a month so its all good. When I hit the big jackpot one day it will all be worth it definitely

no. I don't think about the money I've spent on the lottery at all or have any second thoughts.

People like different things, some people like to smoke and spend their money on cigarettes. Some people like to drink and spend their money on alcohol. Some people like to go to the movie theater and spend $10 on a movie ticket. I personally don't like doing any of those things.

For the last few years I've tracked what I've spent and won playing lotteries so I know.

I also know how much I've saved by not having cable TV or high speed Internet, but I wonder when others talk about how much they enjoy those services what I've missed.

Maybe I would feel the same about lotteries when I read about others winning big lottery jackpots if I didn't play.

Smart move cutting back, it's what I do pretty much. I only buy for big draws on the EuroMillions and when it's won I don't buy till the Jackpot is big again. I don't buy scratch tickets ever and never any other draw games. I just like the feeling of knowing I may be a millionaire for those few moments ;p

The other day I was thinking how much money I ended up throwing out by having played the lottery over these past 3 years. I've never truly counted what I spent when I played but it would be great to have that money back. The last few months I've cut way down on playing (though I wasn't addicted or anything like that).
