There used to be a chain of stores in Northern Illinois called The White Hen Pantry. I think they were sold to 7-11.

When Lucky Day Lotto was Little Lotto (pick 5, progressive jp starts at $100,000) it was incredible how many jackpoits had been won at White Hen Pantrys.

I don't know about luck or favorite stores but just came from the store and the cashier noticed on my reciept it was green, which meant it was at the end of the roll. However, I see it as an indicator for LUCK!! So if I win everyone on the thread will get a hundred from me from tonights powerball winnings..

Seems to me if you had to pick a lucky store nationally, it would have to be the Publix chain of food stores in Florida.

I heard tell there's one down in Chattanooga too.

Maybe I oughta slide on down there and get a ticket.

How quick we forget.

Anyone remember the Miracle Mile in Fond du Lac, Wisconsin, known for the multiple jackpot winners some stores there sold?

It was on TLCML programs on TLC, and mentioned in some threads here.

I think the main store featured has closed.

I started going to a lucky store because they posted all the winning scratch-offs they had. Here is where I won my biggest jackpot ever - $500 - in a scratch-off! There was a lucky girl that worked there, but when she left, I noticed I wasn't doing as well anymore. Anyway, a new person bought the store and I stopped going there (besides the fact they had to apply for a license for lottery), the vibe just didn't seem the same.

I heard you should never buy tickets from a store that previously did sell a winning ticket. As the british would say, bullocks. My favorite spot sold a 6 million ticket a couple of years ago.....

I am going to be the odd ball and say I believe some stores are lucky. In statistics, things can cluster randomly in certain areas time and time again so I think a few rare stores may be part of a cluster.

Luck is where the winners are and they are every where. It's easy to know where they've been but almost impossible to know where they'll be. It's easier to try and predict the next winning combination and make the store where you buy your tickets the next lucky place.

In MA people tend to not have time for that southern hospitality. It's all business. You say a quick hi and what you want and they give it to you then you pay and leave. I have got used to it and so when I visit the south and the store guy is talking to me about things, I find it a little strange lol.

You pretty much said it all Jon. In fact those lottery counters with a blanket of winning scratcher tickets are a put off to me.

Roger the clerks with the attitudes, Dallas. I don't wanna deal with 'em, I don't want 'em touching my tickets. I don't wanna breathe the same air with 'em.

I'll turn around and walk out when I see that look in their eye or sense the attitude.

I know a couple places with a couple clerks who are in perpetual bad moods and I avoid 'em.

Yeah, no such thing as lucky stores.

We've got a store down here in the southland, Bluebird Liquor in Hawthorne, that news reporters always flock to and do stories when Jackpots get high. People come from miles around and stand in line for hours. SILLY! I walk to my corner store and there's no line, and buy my PB tickets, which are just as lucky or unlucky as any bought at any so called lucky store.

Agreed. There is a store in San Leandro that has churned out 4/5 lottery winners in the past Decade.lts all got to do with the sales.People drive from afar to purchase tickets there hoping for some luck to rub off on them. Fool's Gold l say.lt's not the location, its the numbers.
