Why bash Richard Lustig. He's just a salesman making money! Capitalism is about selling something even if its just your labor.

That was semi-clever. I will give you a small kudos for that.

Actually I was hanging out with OnlyMonkey (because he bought me weed and paid me to teach him how he could find a clue on how to have a semi respectable hit ratio)

It so happens he dropped his pacifier down by the tracks. Being the pathetic baby that he is, his crying was incosolable Thats the only reason that accident happened. Next time my entourage of Ninjas will just throw him on the tracks in order to shut him up.

Everyone who takes a couple of minutes to investigate can easily find that info. However, to be fair, he is misrepresenting by using the word Jackpot . I'll give you that.

Your whole point was that because he wasn't disclosing what games he was winning was probable cause to believe that if his potential customers knew he wasn't winning Pb or mega, then he'd lose them as customers.

His gross total is under $2 million, the largest one time amount was under $900,000,they were not jackpot wins unless you count the scratch offs (one was a trip to Graceland), and by his own admission has never played nor won a MM or PB because the odds of winning are too great. And yet every time there's a PB or MM frenzy, some news station tracks him down to get his expertise. It's all a sham. What he's been good at is marketing himself. Nothing more.

How much did he win? Something like 10 or 15 million over the years? I forget, but does it matter? Since on average the lottery pays about half of what it takes in, Richard had to spend what? 20 or 30 million for what? To sell a few thousand copies of his crummy book? I think it was either LCML or one of Yahoo's videos that revealed how much he estimated having spent on the lottery over the years. I've looked for it but can't find it; I know I saw a few of months ago, after one of the jackpot frenzies. It was a pretty big number.

This is a bit tricky. Let's say that you use the same numbers, that doesn't mean that you combine them the same way.

If you play 1 to 10, you can play now 1 2 3 4 5 with 6 7 8 9 10 and next time 1 4 6 7 8 with 2 3 5 9 10.

For the winnings, yes, you need some luck for the jackpots. Did he win by pure luck? I am not so sure. Playing more does indeed increase your probability to win a pot.

If you can deduce tickets from your taxes, you should do this, especially when you play alot.

It doesn't really matter. He probably spends a lot, more than the average person.

But that's not what makes him unique. There are many other multiple large prize lottery winners.

Some people will win a big one like Cynthia Stafford, or win multiple times like Richard Lustig. That will happen to some people purely by chance. Yesterday I was watching some You Tube interviews with Richard Lustig and he avioided answering questions about how much he has spent to get his lottery wins over the years.
