Here is what it looks like now.

I added checkbox so you can enable/disable the skip counting.

I added 3 radio buttons so that you can highlight the shortsum column based on Even/Odd, High/Low, or Outer/Inner. This way you can the shortsum trend in 3 different forms.

When you check the checkbox or the radio buttons it should automatically update the screen to reflect your choices.

If you use the Combo Box to change the state game, then you will have to hit the Genera... [ More ]

Love those trends in color......becomes something more in color doesn't it? Something ........ innate.

It's really looking like something very dangerous jim. Oh yes.

Like to take that baby out on the road and give it a work out. LOL

Any place we can use color on any thing close to 50/50 ....I've always been up for those.

Still not quite sure on how you want the shortsums enhanced. Do you want separate columns for each shortsum like I did for digits? The only problem with doing that is the screen real estate is starting to run out. I try not to have to scroll the screen right and left because I find it annoying. So I am not sure I can fit them all in.

Or do you want it like it is now and highlight in red the even shortsums and highlight in green the odd shortsums and treat them like a 50/50 fil... [ More ]

My goodness jim...... I really couldn't decide they were both so good depending on the perspective you were thinking in. Wow, and now you say you could just create a toggle switch. Such a fine detail really.

If I could vote for a color..... on the Short sums column I've gotten used to red for Even digit sums. In fact it always seemed to help having the actual stack of draw digits in color .....well, just talking the even digits in red perhaps.

Here is what it looks like with Repeat Digits.

I also added Digits where its basically a running skip count. The top line, if the draws are up to date will always tell you what the current skip count is for a digit for the specified game.

If its too busy for your eyes with all the numbers I can just not show what the running skip counts are and just display the green pastel background instead with no numbers.

Okay I will mock something up. I have a wide screen monitor so adding more columns is not an issue for me. I don't know about you and Carbob and if you have wide screen monitors and whether it would bother you to have to scroll left and right to see all the columns.

I think of Uncle Billy as far as an old time bumbling accountant.

Think I've seen it done that way Jim. Not sure how it would look in this particular lay out.

Long..... over average continuous lines of like results become almost helpfully subliminal anyway.

Your experience using distinguishing color and font in these crowded data environments has to be better than mine for sure.

Now that I think about it a little more....as far as using individual columns goes......I would almost rather reserve that for individual digits really......and color bars th... [ More ]

Do you want each ShortSum to have its own column (0 thru 9) and set background of the non winning shortsums in pastel green and the winning shortum in pastel red?

Repeat digits would not be a problem to add as a column.

Not only can I see it lots better now...... I can FEEL it.

Brother, .... I can almost taste those filters. Good choices.

One filter that comes in handy and positioned some where near the draws column would be ....repeat digits.... 1,,2 or the almost impossible 3 digit repeats.

The other helpful distinction would be using the same coloring on ODD/EVEN ssums ......just the short sum c... [ More ]

Nothing wrong with pencil and paper but it is no fun updating all the draws. If I can automate something then I go for it.

I tried to make my program look like an Excel spreadsheet, with the addition of automatically updating the draws.

So do you prefer where the text is highlighted, or where the background box is highlighted. Here is an example of the background boxes highlighted using pastel like colors. I find pastel type of colors easier on my eyes but I am sure everyb... [ More ]

Alert with color. Easy to see and better on the old crossed eyes. LOL

Added a Tab where you can select your State Game (Morning, Midday, Evening, Night, or Combined) and chart its draw history stats.

The highlights in green are the 50% filters that you would track to start playing for them to hit (Yes)

Here is a straight positioning chart based on Sully's idea of tracking position.

In this example I tracked the last 21 draws.

The encoding is as follows:

A - Represents a digit that has 0 hits.

B - Represents a digit that has 1 hit.

C - Represents a digit that has 2 hits.

D - Represents a digit that has 3 hits.

E - Represents a digit that has 4 hits. and so on.

So after 1 draw of tracking all the hits have to come from A since all digits in all positions are available.... [ More ]

Looks like for those that track digit skips that once a box digit reaches around 15 skips it's probably a good time to target it.

As Win D points out a single digit leaves 271 straight combos which is not much different than playing for a double which is 270 straight combos.

If by wild you mean any pair such as front, back, split then yes. They are also boxed.

It would not be any more difficult to track them as front, back, split, and in straight form.

If by CF you mean conditional formatting then no.

No its not Lotus, its software that I wrote using a grid control styled with a theme/style of Office 2007(Luna Blue) and tabbed pages stylesd similar to OneNote if you have ever used that software.

I really do not have a strategy for playing rootsum or shortsum, I just wrote some software to track it. I was asking fellow LP members how they would use the information. I don't think it is as simple as just playing the longest out due to the high variance, but I might be wrong as others seem to use that strategy and do quite well. BlackApple and Sully16 do quite well when tracking rootsums so I would look to them for guidance.

Yes Professional UI Solutions provides a library that provides controls a programmer can use. This particular application I created is making use of grid controls which gives it that spreadsheet feel with row and columns like Excel. In addition I am using what are known as Tabbed Pages which are similar to Excel Sheets.

There were quite a few hits from the hottest 10 pairs today. Being Sunday and Easter there were not as many drawings held. Might be better to track between Monday and Saturday.

Georgia Evening on 04/20/2014 was 596 and pairs 59 and 56 were in the 10 hottest pairs list.

More tracking required but its a start.

I'm kinda of thinking that the sweet spot for a shortsum/rootsum to repeat is once it has skipped for 3 draws that there is 25% chance that it will repeat within the next 4 draws. I think those should be the target shortsum/rootsum and not necessarily the hottest or coldest. I will need to chart the hits like I did for doubles to be sure. Will post something later on it, first I am going to create some pair charts.

I would probably just add a couple more columns that displayed the hottest 3 shortsums, and the coldest 3 shortsums for those not interested in what the actual skip count was and wanted to only make decisions on what was hot and what was cold.

I don't normally track shortsums, rootsums so that is why I initially asked this question. I also normally don't chase sleepers of any kind but other people do so that is why I am trying to figure out their thought process? Chasing sleepers by themselve... [ More ]

A measure of the dispersion of a set of data from its mean. The more spread apart the data, the higher the deviation. Standard deviation is calculated as the square root of variance. Anyone else using this tool for games ? I've been doing some research into Deviation Analysis is looks very promising for another tool in Lotto games.

How about some CF, (conditional formatting) to contrast that skip 0 1 2 3, with the skip 30+?

Skips are skips, so I would focus on the smaller ones, and let the sleepers sleep.

If you chase a skip 50, and you get it, then what?

Keep chasing it? What if the skip goes 50 and 50 again?

Waste of money.

I don't worry about short sums. But root sums I do. Look at yesterday's root sum, the root sum for today will be within 4 of it. About 75% of the time. Tracking on graph paper will determine if it's 4 above or 4 below yesterday's root sum. Just an observation...

Another good way to track is the last 10 roots.

I f ound in Nm that hits come directly from the roots and mirrors of the roots.

For example

789

Roots 6,6,6 look for a 111 or combinations in the future.

From t he draws 383 434 and 496 comes the Thursday result 125.
