Hey Floridians! Check out your local Publix and make yourselves toward the automatic ticket dispensers. At the top there is an ad for a new game to replace Mega Money with Lucky Money with an EZMatch option (probably combining the names of the defunct Lucky Lines and soon to be extinct Mega Money). I didn't see any other details than that. I wonder if this game will be a combination of Fantasy Five and Mega Money.

I agree that the new game is NOT the $5 Monopoly Millionaires Club.

July 2 is too early.

Texas is announcing the game on Monday. Actual implementation is probably months away.

Guess Florida is about get a new pick 4 game.

Mega Money isn't making way for that. That would mean MMC would be starting July 2nd (as of this writing, less than two weeks away).

I'm guessing its going to be like Hot Lotto with it starting out at $1 Million dropping the power no less then 22 with an extra $.That's what I'm thinking.

I think it's obvious that Monopoly Millionaires Club (5/52+1/28) $5 game is the new jackpot game for Florida.

Texas is joining, as are other PB/MM states.

Some new and fancy words are being used to make the game appear to be different from existing standard games, but

you win by correctly choosing 5 numbers and the extra or bonus number.

Of course, players will have to pay $5 for a chance to win.

I love those 4-number lotto games (or game in the singular tense, as Washington state's is the only one left). However, this is going to be a twice-weekly game as one can deduce from the FAQ on the FL Lottery website, I highly doubt that's what's coming here. It's a shame, really; but maybe some other good concept will come about.

BTW, nothing for 2 out of 4? I know that would dilute the other prizes, but shouldn't there at least be a free ticket for 2

Hey people, waste your money on this new spin. It still has unimaginable odds that one must tackle, but pay no mind, that's not really important. Facts keep getting in the way of my precious dreams. lol

Cash 3 and Play 4 are offered at $.50 plays, so there's no reason they couldn't offer that on a jackpot game. And I'm not talking about a $1.50 play, I'm talking about an actual $.50 play option on a jackpot game. But to make that price point work, they would have to design a game that would generate the sales volume and frequency of play that would support the pricing. I have a feeling that the new game is going to be very similar to Mega Money. I think this change is being made largely because of confusion with Mega Millions. If it wasn't for Mega Millions, the new game might have very well kept the Mega Money name. Just a hunch, we'll see if it's right.

Yikes! That 250k Triple Play is a Frankenstein of a game; part self-pick, part RNG, distressingly high odds, and $2 per play. Not a game I would play.

Whatever they end up offering, I think it will be a $2 game. It's been an unfortunate trend lately as states add new draw games to their portfolios.

Maybe it might be a game that provides more perceived value by providing more lines per dollar like Missouri's new $250K Triple Play but with a larger jackpot that rolls with higher odds.
