I was taking a look at doubles using this system, and it has some interesting peculiarities that might help us with our doubles game.

Only even sum groups contain a double pair, and then they contain the mirror doubles. For example:

Sum Pair Group 0 = 00,55

Group 2 = 11,66

Group 4 = 22,77

Group 6 = 33,88

Group 8 = 44,99

Great point, Carbob!

This would be a high-percentage filter for the pairs with 2 different digits. However I wouldn't use this for double pairs as you would be filtering out 60% of the doubles (unless you were expecting a trough-pair double, of course).

If one of the digits 0,1,8,9, hit 79% of the time, then my thoughts are you should play the pairs with at least one of those digits.

Fl Mid hits 79% using at least 1 of those digits. I am changing the way I look at Cash 3 combos.

I had a look at the chart by Destiny2003f as suggested by Duchess69, Sherita, Kreative1 and Tianca. Thanks to Ranman17 for sharing the chart with me.

Destiny's system takes all the pairs from the last two results, looks them up in the chart, discards the original pair that hit and takes the pairs on either side of the original pair to play in the next game. Her system looks at either 1 pair on either side of the original pair or 2 pairs on each side of the original pair.

I went through all the links that OnlyMoney provided and they all seem to refer to some take your last number and add xxx workout. I didn't see any charts, especially not one that is identical to mine.

My system, to use that word loosely, is a way of organizing pairs into groups by using their sums.

Yes, Dr. San. As you point out much more filtering is possible with these groups. My primary reason for posting about Pair Sums was just to explore some of the interesting characteristics of these groups.

example

Where p = 1 is the last digit is even

02,24,46,80 ..... 25

Where Ip = the 1st digit is odd and the last pair

12, 16,18,34,36,38 .... 25

Where Pi = the 1st digit is even and the other odd

25,03,45,49 ... 25

ii = 1 where the digit is odd and the other odd

15,17,19,35,37 ...... 25

And so with outroa 3 patterns of high and low inside out and bullet NCED

check for it in short sum

and vice versa

Cool idea

Midday today we had Connecticut, Georgia, and Ohio with 02,11,39,48,57,66 out 11 or 12 draws. Connecticut hit today 012.

Evening draws for tonight we have Indiana, Maryland, Quebec, and Texas Late Nite at 10 or more skips. 03,12,49,58,67

Yes it does indeed have a good basis potential for a system as well as another divide and conquer tool.

Most filters stay pretty calm most of the time. Best to keep thermometers in their little mouths anyway. LOL One more is good. The more alerts the better.

Recently I read a post that referred to the sums of pairs, an idea that I had not previously considered. So I set up a spreadsheet so that I could play around with the concept, and I m glad I did.

I summed each of the 55 pairs in the Pick 3 game and then grouped the pairs by the Last Digit of the Pair Sum. For example, pair 56 sums to 11, so it went into group 1, Pair 77 sums to 14 so I put it in group 4. Root sums would also work, but I like LDS.

This gives 10 groups of pairs with LDS 0-9... [ More ]
