The new playslips dont have odd or even choices or 1st 12 or last 12 anymore. Those went away when they restarted tbe game. There are still a lot of people that make those choices apparently.

The cap is not that low, it's $5 million, but each winning ticket would get only $21,000. North Carolina has a $3 million cap. Is the odd/even and high/low option still on the play slip because players are less likely to fill one out with all even or all odd

I really wish Texas' Cash 5 game got to $398,000. Every once in a while someone will win $20,000, usually it's around $17,000.

It's just pitiful.

If you play this game 4 times a day you will most definitely lose more than you win unless you hit for the jackpot or $500. I use to play 2 draws a day and noticed if I hit for $2 on one draw I would always lose the other draw. So, I play at most 1 draw a day and sometimes I'll go a few days and not play at all.

The overall odds of this game aren't bad, but the odds for the jackpot plus the $2 per tic aren't so good. But, the prospect of $250000 getting me out of debt is hard to pass up.... [ More ]

On March 13 of this year there were 238 players that won $500 hitting either 1 of 12 or 11 of 12 playing all even numbers. If all 12 had been even there would have been 238 jackpots winners that would have shared $250,000.

There is a $5 million cap so up to 20 tickets can collect the $250,000 jackpot. The high/low and even/odd was a box option on the play slips and before the game was stopped and the cap was put into place, over 100 tickets a drawing bet that way and possible loss of $20 million or more.

If you count the odd/or even numbers -- each time you get 11 or 12 -- rarely more one way or the other -- always puts you in the 5, 6, 7, 8 -- nothing pile category -- no $$.

NCEL says the numbers are select using Random number generator program . I doubt that.

They say it takes too long to draw 12 numbers, but every night at 11:22 p.m. Pick 3, Pick 4, Cash 5 -- that's 12 numbers.

The payout is terrible for this game. It would be better if it was a dollar to play instead of two bucks. The Cash 5 is alot better even with the EZ match option making it 2 bucks. I played the first week it came out and wasn't impressed lol.

When they found out how many people were playing all even/odd and high/low, they put a cap on how much could be paid out and changed the top prize to pari-mutual. North Carolina has the same rule.

As a playing strategy, it's a good as any other, but if you match all or nothing, you probably won't collect the full top prize.

Play two sets.

ALL EVEN

ALL ODD

When either set hits, you collect $500,000 for having ALL in one set and NONE in the other.

This is the strategy that caused Texas to temporarily suspend the All or Nothing Game the year it came out.

Idea: Nothing Strategy:

If you match 1 number, you win $500. But you must NOT MATCH the other 11 numbers. IF you play the NOTHING Strategy, you have to figure out which numbers are not falling, and only play 1 number that is falling, to win $500.

The number 1 has been hitting a lot during the daytime.
