That was my purpose for bringing up this topic to see if anyone could see something outside the box with this johnson guy, Now i see a lot of you on here are intellectuals and have some valid points.And i will not argue some of the points that make sense.

The point is sometimes thinking outside the box works and it wouldn't surprise me to someday read that someone won PB or MM doing

I thought it was possible when the MM matrix was 5/56 + 46 with 3,819,816 five number combos, but not with 17,259,390.

That's true but players won't win enough times because of the odds and or enough money because of the payoffs unless they win top tier prizes. Nothing wrong with dreaming, but your PB ticket only had a 3% of winning something and likely a prize under $100.

I like to dream big, but if doesn't happen to me, I hope someone who really deserves it should win.

Where can we find the list of deserving players

It's silly to even mention PB and MM as potential games, but it might be possible in some of the scratch-off games.

When you think about it, many story I've read about someone beating a gambling game was silly for anyone to think about doing it the way it was done. Weather it was the lady in Texas with a master degree in mathematics who brought all those scratch-off and won several million dollars jackpots, or the Michigan couple that traveled to Massachusetts to spend $300K+ playing Winfal... Johnson's story is different than the average Blackjack card counter because the casino allowed him to set the conditions. The only recent lottery game comparable where players could gain an advantage was the Mass game RJ mentioned. Many years ago it was possible to buy all the combinations in Lotto games and it was done in Virginia when the size of the jackpot was larger than the number of combos.

I may have confused Don Johnson with another blackjack player, I did a search of LP news and the two stories I found about him didn't include that one.

It's not unusual for lottery games to have weakness that can be exploited but usually only big stake players can take advantage of them like the Michigan couple that traveled to Massachusetts to spend $300K playing its Winfall game before it was discontinued. If someone told you a lottery game could be beaten by finding its weakness and exploiting them, would you believe them enough to try it? Probably not because it would require a lot of research which requires a lot time and study with no guaranteed that you would be successful. If someone has found a game they can exploit don't wait around for them to write a book and share it with everyone, that's the kind of stuff one keeps to one's self.

Perhaps in a Casino- but trying to beat the MM/PB game odds: Fat chance. Mathematicians have tried and failed. There are no loopholes when it comes to those balls spinning around, no way to predict in advance how they going to fall, no weaknesses or ways to exploit the balls. Unless it is an inside job .

I watched this fascinating program on Blackjack gambler Don Johnson who milked the AC casinos for 15 mil!! He says he beat the house because he found their weaknesses and expolited them. However he was an insider to the casino business and learned valuable lessons that he used later on.
