While I can still learn even at my age, my mind and maybe my body get tired easier than they did years ago.

I only knew some Basic, I didn't try to learn a lot, but even now if I wanted to I could learn a lot more Basic, my mind seems to still be sharp enough, I never knew a lot about Math, but I could learn that too if I wanted to.

If you know C-64 Basic then you know enough to write a simple program in many of the Basics for Windows 8 which can be downloaded for free. Many of them come with a tutorial to update you on anything you might have forgotten.

I downloaded a copy of QB64 and ran some copies of my GWBasic programs and except of having to add same ; and change some FOR/NEXT statements as the compiler suggested they ran and a lot faster too. I will have to change some of the colors since some color combinations

It is true, both of you are right about that.

But something like this is easier to do with software or with any calculator, really best with a calculator as it is a lot more trouble to use a computer to make those very simple calculations.

You may be right, until a workout goes beyond the use of simple mathematics, it's probably faster to use paper and pencil doing the math mentally than it is entering the information into a computer to get the same results. Programming such a workout would have no value.

For that kind of math you don't even need a calculator less alone a computer but learning how to program such simple stuff is the basic of learning how to program more complex equations. He'll learn all that in the first few pages of any book about computer programming.

Keep it short!

You cannot keep up with a computer when it comes to doing a big mass a repetitive work. Also coding is not that simple. You have to take care of things that don't play with paper and pen.

Yes, you are right about that.

A program just automates what you are already doing by hand from your mind, you automate the mental logic and then the mechanics of what your hand does.

For example, something simple:

Pick 3

A, B, C.

-1, +3, +0

A = 5, B = 0 and C = 9

5 0 9

-1, +3 and +0

= :

5-1 = 4

0+3 = 3

9+0 = 9

So:

4 3 9

Computer programs don't have to be about only complicated workouts. About every book I've ever read about learning to program starts out with the simple program print Hello world . Even simple paper workouts should have the same structures and thoughts that one would have if a computer program was being written.

i win about on average 2 times a week all u do is chart the doubles eve separate from midday keep track of position hits, hot and cold digits make a chart, on average a double shows every 4 draws,, lets say the digit 6 is ice cold out maybe 20 to3 0 draws in the first position or any other position. now play 66 with all or with the 2 0r three hottest digits for the past 2 weeks, i have hit numerous times that way.u dont play every day just when a double has not shown in 4 or more times.

This stuff is boxed, not straight, so I think that if I wanted to, I could first do the Even-Odd sums on the 220 pick 3 boxed numbers and take a good luck at them.

And if I found on there something of use then I would do the same with the Low-High.

But I would not go to any of that trouble unless I myself could code software and I can't, so I won't do it.

You stepped towards me with the request to analyse the string of all digits put together. When I asked what it was good for, you did not answer not wanting to say. After making it, you asked me what it was good for! You are the dog chasing your tail and wanting other people to chase your tail for you, so you do not have to run, and all that with the thought that you take the harvest.

I do not understand you and other players, who asked me for things done and not saying what it was meant for.

If you find one digit, you have to play it in three positions with all other combinations. I strongly suggest that you use my wheeler if you cannot calculate this. It displays the count. Finding one digit and playing it straight means winning net money. So if you have the bankroll then go for it

correct, that's why if you have a system that works, you sip from the cup.

but also the lottery does more than just make a profit at least in some states. they do contribute to state taxes and also a portion goes to educational scholarships and aid. kinda putting all that money to good use to help progress the state.

Hello!

There are 10 digits from 0 up to 9 for each of the 3 exact positions.

For just 1 of those 3 positions, each of those 10 digits, has a 1/10 chance to come out.

For all 3 positions, each of those 10 digits might have:

1/10 X 1/10 X 1/10 = 3/10 chance to come out in 1 of those 3 straight positions.

Maybe 3/10 = about 33% or about 1/3 (1 out of 3).

But I don't know anything, so I might be wrong.

i understand what you are saying, but the lottery is numbers, and numbers involve math.one can use math to at least try to predict what numbers might appear. which is were the Gambling part of the lottery comes in. we are all trying to guess best and lottery officials are not against that. so its a two way sword.

No matter how the winning numbers are produced, you (we) want to win and the state doesn't want too many people to win or anybody to win too much and or too often.

People are not playing just against the lottery machines, but also against people, because the state also wants to win and they always want to win very big.
