Well, there is the concept of Width . This is the difference between the lowest digit in the combination and the highest digit in the combination. For example, 582: highest digit =8, lowest digit =2, 8-2=Width=6.

Width breaks down as follows:

Width 0 - 10 straight combinations (these are the triples)

Width 1 - 54 straight combinations

Width 2 - 96 straight combinations

Width 3 - 126 straight combinations

Width 4 - 144 straight combinations

Every lottery matrix is based on the binomial format NPr (draw with replacement, eg P3, P4) or NCr (draw without replacement, eg mega, cash 5 etc). Below is complete distribution for Pick 2, try to complete sums combo .

I have searched here on LP but have not have any success in finding the sum of 2 digits. instead of using range sum from 0-27 use jus 2 digits that produces a sum range of 0-18.

Sum-number of possible straight combination for each 2 sums

sum 0- 10 straight combinations

sum 1- 20 straight combinations

sum-2- 30 straight combinations

sum3- 40 straight combinations

and so on.

for example the sum of 9

pos1 pos2 pos3

0 x 9

9 x 0

1 x 8

2 x 7

7 x 2

etc.
