I have searched here on LP but have not have any success in finding the sum of 2 digits. instead of using range sum from 0-27 use jus 2 digits that produces a sum range of 0-18.

Sum-number of possible straight combination for each 2 sums

sum 0- 10 straight combinations

sum 1- 20 straight combinations

sum-2- 30 straight combinations

sum3- 40 straight combinations

and so on.

for example the sum of 9

pos1 pos2 pos3

0 x 9

9 x 0

1 x 8

2 x 7

7 x 2

etc.

Is there a chart like this? because I cant find one or maybe some knows if it has been posted.

Well, there is the concept of "Width". This is the difference between the lowest digit in the combination and the highest digit in the combination. For example, 582: highest digit =8, lowest digit =2, 8-2=Width=6.

Width breaks down as follows:

Width 0 - 10 straight combinations (these are the triples)

Width 1 - 54 straight combinations

Width 2 - 96 straight combinations

Width 3 - 126 straight combinations

Width 4 - 144 straight combinations

Width 5 - 150 straight combinations

Width 6 - 144 straight combinations

Width 7 - 126 straight combinations

Width 8 - 96 straight combinations

Width 9 - 54 straight combinations
