I'm in the process of rendering a new video 1A for those who have a hard drive letter other than C . Also, if you wish to change the name of your folder other than Pick3Strings to whatever you want the video explains how to do this.

I put together Excel files to calculate the skip/hit for the 2 Strings through 6 Strings.

Instructions:

Create a new folder and name it Pick3Strings Must use the exact folder name.

This folder must be on your C: drive NOT Desktop.

Attached is a pdf file showing part of an Excel Worksheet that Shows all 210 6String combinations over the last 500 Ca. Daily 3 Midday Games. The pdf is a window of the full worksheet. You can see where each string has broken over the last 500 games. You can count hits of all kinds, Singles, Doubles, Triples etc.

My interpretation of string and some other terms as pair is different.

My pairs mean two different digits. I.e. 122 has only one pair: 12.

Now I understand what you mean by string , thanks!

For me this is a 4 digits wheel with the following conditions:

3 of 4 digits in unmatched draws or 2 of 4 in doubles draws or 1 of 4 in triples draws

This skip could go very far as you can see QC at 183. It's very risky to stick with it for long time.

If Winsum's database is wrong, my is wrong. Are you sure that you are interpreting the string correctly? The draws you are showing belong to the string. Digits 128 all came from the string. What we are looking for is a draw containing only these digits 3,4,6,9. The string is now at 87 draws.

There is a string, 0,1,2,5,7,8 at 86 draws. If you were to use the missing digits 3,4,6,9 and run them through Lotsoft's Shortsums table. These are the unhit sum 15 straight combos in last 5 years.

I played the dbls as combos, the others straight.

Thank you so much for this advice. It is the direction I am going. I have started with 6 Strings and plan on looking at 5,4,3 and maybe 2 strings also. The main reason I have not tried LotSoft yet, I am almost done with my workout. When I finish it I will go to Lotsoft to look for comparisons and probably find most of the same things done already.

Follow her advice, they don't call her the Lottery Detective , for no reason!!! AllenB, another tip, using Lotsoft. Load the ShortSums table in Lotsoft, with 3 years worth of draws. In the vertical yellow bar, enter the missing digits of a 6-digit string, check the Perform Action On Straight Shortsums also. The remaining combos will be the unhit combos for those 4 digits in 3 years. What do you show for Ca. Mid's longest running 6-digit string and I will show you an example.

I either play them or exclude them depending on the length of time the string has been running. For example, for a 4 digit string the 75th percentile falls at 25 games, so if the string has been running for less than 25 games I will consider those digits for play (strings being only one factor in the decision).

If a 4-digit string gets beyond 25 games, I start eyeing it to break. Other than the time span of the string I also compare 4, 3 and 2 digit strings which often include some of the sa... [ More ]

I use the StringAnalysis Workbook. On the States Worksheet, you pick the state and use the Click to run Custom Draws . Then go to the StringStatesCustom Worksheet and you will see the longest string and the next longest string. I created new Excel files for generating skip histories for both the 5 Digit Strings and 6 Digit Strings

The Excel file is using the California Midday drawings.

What is the criteria for generating strings?, do you look for 'due' or 'next' string? 'Due' is more of elimination by tracking, while 'next' is more in line with the draw trajectory, is all about perception.

Lets generate 6 string size for FL using just the sum parameter as reference:

I'm not Carbob, but my understanding of strings is that it breaks when none of the string numbers hit. For example, in Carbob's screenshot 013568 is the 6-digit string highlighted at the top of the page. The string would break when the number drawn contains NONE of the string digits -- i.e. when the draw contains only digits 2, 4, 7 or 9 -- only 20 possible combinations.

So, if you know the string is due to break your next result will be one of:

247,249,279,479,224,227,229,244,447,449,277... [ More ]

If any one of the digits in the string is not drawn, it is broke.

Fl Combined longest string 012578 is at 73 draws. When you see a 6-digit string at 90 or above draws, start playing it.

missing digits 3469, a combo from these 4 digits, will break the string.

I don't use strings every day. My favorite filter is YNY.

Is it single digits,pairs , whole numbers,or a math thing ? Could it just be numbers going from hot to

Cold? Also is there anywhere on net or these threads, that tells how to use it. I know I'm not using

I thought I was getting close to the point of applying this to other states until I thought of some other observations I wanted. Currently I am on a quest to learn all about String Characteristics. For example does the way the string was formed (the order in which the numbers were added to the string) correlate to the number of times they will hit on the string or maybe suggest how long a string will run. Have been reading and listening if you want to try a state Michigan is ball drawings 3 and 4 digit. Am using RLs slider and have a pretty good handle on the pairs. Just need to find the 3rd digit for 3 digit draw and 4th for the addition for the 4 digit draw. This will also help for the straight hits. dld

I just thought it might help you go farther, faster, if you were to initially run the String Analyzer on a state whose ball-drawn mechanical draws are more of a true reflection of the natural flow of the game, and would help to better streamline your methodology before applying it to California. I plan to run other sates when I get this streamlined. Do you have a request?

Using the String Analizer by Winsomeloosesum and a suplemental extractor worksheet that I made up it will be really easy to run any state. More time will be needed to update the states games than to run the data.

Just a thought... As you know, California's draws are computer drawn. Some people make a distinction between ball-drawn and computer-selected draws. If there is such a radical difference, it may be worth it to consider conducting your String Analysis research on a ball-drawn state as well.

I have only got data on California right now. The String analysis program from Winsomeloosesum is what you want to get or ask WinsumLoosesum to calculate the NY strings for you. With his worksheets all you need to do is update the Games for NY and you could find the strings yourself. It would not be right for me to use His work that way.

Thanks to Win D and Winsomelooseum we can all understand strings and find them in an instant with the String Analysis Worksheets. String facts are absolute and only random in when they occur not in what they are. I just learned that and right now it seams to me that this is power. The more we know .? Calculating additional information along the string lets one find stuff like:
