Got all the files but do not know where to see the sets to play liker in the P3 files. Also did not know what to click to see what you displayed when clicking under columns I and J. Also you have strings 13 and 14 selected for strings 5 and 6. Do you suggest these to calculate for P4? Thanks Anyone can jump in here since I know Winsum in very busy.

May not have macros enabled or security set too high

Check Data Text to Columns Delimited 'check to see if that Tab is the only box checked

Look at the blue top left corner or glossary in the thread:

xx1 - morning (8:00 -12:00 EST)

xx2 - midday (12:00 -16:00 EST)

I don't think it's a good idea to chase the longest ones. Someone may figure out a better pattern to follow.

How hard would it be to add a new column between Max and Curr that indicate the total number of consecutive skips at x number. In this case the x factor would be equal or less than 9.

In your post above CA2 the value would be 7 (2,0,6,9,8,3,0) for the 4 digit string breaker 1457

In addition, how hard would it be just to show the top 5 4 digit string breakers for each xx1, xx2, xx3, xx4, xx5 or in other words every Pick 3 game just show the best 4 digit string breakers with th... [ More ]

Let's heat up a little bit.

Here are 10 test results with the most hits in the last 1000 draws from all states with skip pattern in order to find any clue.

I could post all 210 combinations of 4 digits wheel (Sgl3, Dbl2, Trp1), but that wouldn't help anything more.

Steve is looking for a recent skip trend expecting two next skips to stay in the trend.

Here we have enough data to validate that strategy.

Talking strings, for Daily 3 California, I programmed exclusive filters. Sounds cool, aye!

The last filter function is a sequential regex number string pattern counter which shows the count of the pattern input for each numbers string being N1, N2 and N3 isolated. With the boxed search you have the easy filter, you can type your one to ten digit mix as list or just one pattern.

I won't sum up all the filters and working of it. There are more ideas to develop.

As a result of this thread I have been looking more closely at strings. Thanks for posting the list of all the strings so I could update my DB, Winsum!

I find the action is in the smaller strings of 2,3,4 digits. I am interested in strings that have been hanging around too long, but also strings that have NOT hit for a while. If you look at the string that is due to fail, the long-out numbers are interesting for use as keys in the string breaker list.

Winsum, can you explain again why you selected 1237 to play in WV?

Here bellow are 6-dig skips (or 4-dig breaker skips) in WV with current skip bellow 10.

Your one is green. It's been under skip 10 only one time and previous consecutive skips are 16, 1, 38 etc.

Why didn't choose the yellow one 0249 currently at skip 3 and many more consecutive skips under 10?

Last draw 373 was not included in this analysis.

This is a 6-dig string for 012345 in FL 200 combined draws by this evening.

If you're using windows you can see the balls on the right side representing a string and some dots representing breaks.

Dots are breaks (20 combos, mostly doubles) the people are chasing.

A breaker 4 digits in this example are 6789 and actual combinations to play at the right time :

You're right about a string definition in programming languages, but a string in this and many other LP topics has a completely different meaning.

A chain of consecutive hits = string.

The string can be broken and the question is at what length.

If the chain is too tick as 6-digits string (200 of total 220 combos every draw) it may take a long time before it gets broken.

A string is usually a set of characters(numbers, letters,etc).The assumption is that, the characters in a string are related somehow, normally the linear dimension is assumed.A string varies in sizes from 1 to infinity, the size is the length, eg the string 123 has the size 3( 3 elements/characters, variables etc).In common language, a string represents subsection of larger data. I created a new Excel file program for calculating skips for just 1 Pick 3 game. Midday, Evening, Combined

Here is an example of the Michigan Pick 3 Combined draws.

The 6 String 0,1,4,5,7,9 has been broken 9 consecutive times with a skip of 9 or less.

The breaker digits are 2,3,6,8

Since the current skip is at 7 we would only play Midday and Evening today. See wheel combination bottom.

After I posted this comment, I felt a little dumb. Of course they are adjacent, that is what Winsum's workbook does. It bothered me for a few days. The stupid part was with me while awake but there was something else. I dream about this stuff and awoke yesterday with a question. What happens after a String Breaks. We work hard to try to predict a break; but, don't seam to look at them after they break.

Turns out there are some very consistent trend immediately following a String Break.

Well got another winner here in Mi sunday mid 707 you had it as 077 I had the 77 picked from my software I use good job winsum

still keep eye on those pairs I put up 11-66-16 one will pop this week and here is keys for todays in Mi MId + Night 3-2-6 one of these should come todays number or night and some times 2 will come together 32 36 26 and some times 3 will come 623

Notice the 1-3-4-5 breaker at 9 consecutive times that a state hit within 9 or less draws.

The current skip is 3 so we might see another hit from then next 6 states in the order that state has it's evening Sunday drawing?

I was looking for the 2,3,4,5,6,7 to break within 8 draws but ended breaking at the Tennessee Midday Nov 7, 2015 draw 1-9-0 (15 draws) and also the 2,3,4,5,6,8 and 2,3,5,6,7,8

It then broke again another 23 draws when Michigan hit Evening 0-0-8.

These were today's Strings

Since the current skips for 6 String 0.2.4.7.8.9 is currently at 7 skips we would only play New York Midday and Georgia Midday with the breaker sets for 1,3,5,6

Our top 6 String would be 0,1,2,3,5,7

String breaker is 4,6,8,9

Consecutive Hits when the 0,1,2,3,5,7 at 9 or less skips = 5 (8,0,3,6,8 skips)

Since the current skip is at 8 we would need to only play the next 2 states for Saturday Nov 7 which would be the Tennessee Morning and Texas Morning draw.

This link is Win D's thoughts on playing 6-Digit strings. I use his methods. Steve is showing a different method to track when the string will break. His method may not be a bad idea to use. If you track the breaks, Lotsoft doesn't do that. No one can be 100% correct.

It could be close as long as 180 times, but no win.

The bellow skip count is from 1000 of FL combined draws sorted by skips and their Qty (number of skip occurrences).

A 6-digit string was broken:

9 times after 3 draws

8 times after 5 draws etc.

One time was broken after 54 draws.

Any clue?

Tonight's draw was 6-8-4. Close but no cigar. So now the skip is at 9 (Skip 1) tomorrow night will be the last night to play the string 3,5,6,8. Next string to possible play after tomorrow is 0,3,4,8 breaker. Currently at 1 skip. Look how many times it stopped at 4 skips in the last 10 skips. I count 5 times.

I have been looking at a chart that shows all 210 strings staked adjacent to the game draws. Using WinSum s program arranges the strings in descending order for its current run. It is interesting to see how many strings break for any draw. A No Match draw breaks 7 strings every game. A Double Draw breaks 28 Strings and a Triple Breaks 84. For example,

Using the Pennsylvania Evening drawings example below:

Notice starting in columns O20, P20, Q20 are the Positions 1 through 3 from the winning number drawn on October 31, 2015 371

The 6 Digit String I was calculating (and there are 210 6-digit Strings) was 0,1,2,4,7,9 (see cell S17 below).

Notice in cell columns O20, P20, and Q20 for Positions 1 through 3 the winning numbers were 0-0-6. Notice the digit 0 is highlighted indicating these are the digit(s) from the 6-Digit

What are Strings and how are they calculated:

If you have Excel or Open Office I created a file that contains the list of 2 Strings , 3-Strings , 4-Strings , 5-Strings , 6-Strings , and 7-Strings

This is awesum Winsum. I agree 6 needs to take a hike, and PA Lotto's been strangling us with the 38 string.

Now 5, the in-between digit in the Fibonacci Sequence 0, 1, 1, 2, 3, 5, 8... along with long overdue 2 plus 7 will show soon.

25, 27, 52 57 pairs are ready to explode in PA.

Since the current skip is at 5 we would play 3 more evening Pennsylvania draws. Nov 1 through Nov 3.

So within the next 10 Sunday Midday draws the 6-string should be broken again starting with the New York midday drawing up to the Florida Midday drawing.

So at least 1 of the next 10 draws should be 123, 127, 137, 230 (6-ways), 112, 113, 117, 122, 133, 177, 223, 227, 233, 277, 337, 377 (doubles) or 111, 222, 333, 777 (trips)

Taking the order each state draws. That is what time of the day a state has their Pick 3 drawing.

Calculating the 6 Strings to see how many consecutive draws a 6 String was broken.

In the screen shot below are the results of All States Pick 3

The 6 String 0,4,5,6,8,9 in the example below notice how many times this 6 String was broken less than 10 draws.
