Using "All State" draws as an example.

Taking the order each state draws.  That is what time of the day a state has their Pick 3 drawing.

Calculating the "6 Strings" to see how many consecutive draws a "6 String" was broken.

In the screen shot below are the results of "All States" Pick 3

The "6 String" 0,4,5,6,8,9 in the example below notice how many times this "6 String" was broken less than 10 draws.

Column V we have skips 4,9,5,7,2,6,9.  So there are 7 consecutive times this string was broken by the digits 1,2,3,7.  The last drawing in column I "NM3E" New Mexico Pick 3 was 3-7-1.

So within the next 10 Sunday Midday draws the 6-string should be broken again starting with the New York midday drawing up to the Florida Midday drawing.

So at least 1 of the next 10 draws should be 123, 127, 137, 230 (6-ways), 112, 113, 117, 122, 133, 177, 223, 227, 233, 277, 337, 377 (doubles) or 111, 222, 333, 777 (trips)

Today's Sunday Midday States in play are New York, Georgia, Ohio, New Jersey, Maryland, Michigan, Tr-States, Indiana, and Florida.

See what happens!!

Error in 1 of the 6-way sets

Should be So at least 1 of the next 10 draws should be 123, 127, 137, 237 (6-ways),  2-3-0 was incorrect in the previous post.

Pennsylvania Evening only draws:

The best "6 String" breaker less than 10 draws is 0,1,2,4,7,9

There were 7 consecutive times this "6 String" ended within 0 to 9 draws.

So we would be looking at the String Breaker  3,5,6,8

Since the current skip is at 5 we would play 3 more evening Pennsylvania draws. Nov 1 through Nov 3.

The sets would be:

356, 358, 368, 568 (6 - ways)

335, 336, 338, 355, 366, 388, 556, 558, 566, 588, 668, 688 (doubles)

333, 555, 666, 888 (trips)

This is awesum Winsum. I agree 6 needs to take a hike, and PA Lotto's been strangling us with the 38 string.

Now 5, the in-between digit in the Fibonacci Sequence 0, 1, 1, 2, 3, 5, 8... along with long overdue 2 plus 7 will show soon.

25, 27, 52 & 57 pairs are ready to explode in PA.

What are Strings and how are they calculated:

If you have Excel or Open Office I created a file that contains the list of "2 Strings", "3-Strings", "4-Strings", "5-Strings", "6-Strings", and "7-Strings"

Open Office Calc users .ods file

https://copy.com/JV1hT00YhJX0KOdD

Excel users 1997 and above .xls file

https://copy.com/6d7tqCxYO1NJNrQB

When you open the file you should see columns separated into each of the Strings.

The left is the string and to the right is the "string breaker".  The "string breaker" is the string that contains the digits that will "break" the current string.

For example,

Using the Pennsylvania Evening drawings example below:

Notice starting in columns O20, P20, Q20 are the Positions 1 through 3 from the winning number drawn on October 31, 2015 371

The "6 Digit String" I was calculating (and there are 210 "6-digit Strings) was 0,1,2,4,7,9 (see cell S17 below).

Notice in cell columns O20, P20, and Q20 for Positions 1 through 3 the winning numbers were 0-0-6.  Notice the digit 0 is highlighted indicating these are the digit(s) from the "6-Digit String" 0,1,2,4,7,9.  The 0 (zero) was the only digit that was from the string.

So all we are doing is calculating what digits from the "6-Digit String" appeared in our winning combinations (past draws).  So below cell columns O20 through Q20 you should see all the highlighted cells that contain the digits from the string we are using which is 0,1,2,4,7,9

I no numbers from the "6-Digit String" 0,1,2,4,7,9 are drawn then the string is broken.  For example, on Monday October 26, 2015 the winning number was 3-8-8.  None of the 3 digits drawn were in the "6-Digit String" 0,1,2,4,7,9.

The "string breaker" numbers were 3,5,6,8 (3-8-8).

As long as at least 1 number from the 3 digits drawn are in the "6-Digit String" the hits continue until none of the digits from the "6 Digit String" appear.  Such as in the case of the October 26, 2015 drawing 3-8-8.

Looks interesting. Are these excel files available for download? We were just talking about it over in the Pick 3 Florida forum. I haven't heard of strings before until now.

I have been looking at a chart that shows all 210 strings staked adjacent to the game draws.  Using WinSum"s program arranges the strings in descending order for its current run.  It is interesting to see how many strings break for any draw.   A No Match draw breaks 7 strings every game.  A Double Draw breaks 28 Strings and a Triple Breaks 84.  It is interesting to see how many adjacent string (Based on Winsum's descending order) break on doubles and triples.  I am looking at a count for the number of times a string has broken over a 30 game block, selecting the 3 with the most breaks, taking the common string breakers to see what happens.  I will let you know how Ca. Midday worked out for the last 5 days as soon as I update the draws.

Strings are so cool!

Winsum, I appreciate your hard work, but something seems to be wrong about your string strategy and calculation.

Your skip for PA eve is now at 8 (green here bellow).

Look at my comment between two lists bellow.

60       2567     <-- This is currently the longest skip in PA eve (4 digits, full wheel, 20 box combos) or using your terminology: the string 013489 has not been broken for the last 60 PA eve draws.

Your recommend playing a 4 digit set (20 combos) after only 5 skips which is not a good idea.

The set (2567) currently has the most chance to win, BUT, BUT, BUT be aware that you may be waiting for the hit as long as 120 more draws (based on 1000 draws analysis - look at the red colored end of the following columns).

I'd appreciate if you prove that I am wrong.
