Hi ArizonaDream,

I'm not sure I understand what you mean by going 'live' --- I'm thinking 'live' means you either want to share your system with others, or your going to start buying tickets.

I always felt it good measure to share want you discover with like minds, and there is no better reward of good work than to get a return ---so why not play as you learn, if ya got a few bucks extra to do so?

I usually propose the French European roulette with one zero.

Bet on 19 numbers chance simple, like passe, rouge or impair for example, to double your 20 bucks.

Next step would be to play the douzaines and colonnes or s ries.

Than you can try transversales simples and pleines, also voisins.

Bet 20 on red, get 40.

Bet 500 on low at pick 3, get 500.

This written, start in the casino, not with the lottery.

One should start out with games that have the best overall odds of a hit, those with a 1:10 or better.

Thank you all for your helpful and interesting comments.

Grinding out frequent small wins would be my ideal situation. Beting the game odds seems achievable, beating the house(state) advantage is different matter.

I just noticed that IL lets you bet on front and back pairs in P3, I'm going to explore what I can do with that.

If it somehow works, you might get 75% while the expectancy is 50%. Many don't even get their 50%.

If you can make 2000 of 1000 dollars, then go for it.

I've got two P3 systems I've been working on. One I've been playing on the prediction board for 3 weeks. So far, so good, but it's been betting more lines than I'm comfortable playing in real life.

A good system would usually win more than it cost to play it and if you're uncomfortable doing that then you're not ready to go live.

I would back-test a system on at least a couple of months worth of data. Then, if it seems to be good, I would play on paper for a couple of weeks.

If it is triggered by a special set-up I would go back and find at least 10 instances where the set-up existed and see what the system produced on those occasions.

Maybe if you post it, someone else may be able to help you tweak or can give their input to something that may generate more hits, just a thought. Sometimes we overlook the obvious.

Good question. The next question would be, does it hit consistently? Or should I say, your definition of consistently. Maybe that's twice a week, four times a week, every other draw... If it doesn't hit quite as often as you like, possibly it needs a little tweaking to improve it. It doesn't cost anything to practice on paper. So take your time to perfect it. When you can hit as often as you want on paper, then go for it.

How long would you test a system with paper bets before going live with it?

I've got two P3 systems I've been working on. One I've been playing on the predidction board for 3 weeks. So far, so good, but it's been betting more lines than I'm comfortable playing in real life.
