Actually I'd like to see a hard working blue collar married couple with children win powerball. Someone who has been busting their ass to make ends meet. If anyone deserves a break, its people like that.

It's none of my business who wins it. Personally I don't care who wins it. If Donald Trump won it I would simply laugh. It doesn't matter who wins it because it's all going back into the system one way or another. If someone who doesn't know how to handle money wins it, so what, it just means that the money will go back into the system faster than if someone who knew how to handle it. I don't think it's really fair to say that. While I do know some idiots that are in their 20s, I also know some middle aged idiots as well. How about we get rid of the age bias and just agree that we don't wanna see anyone win that is financially irresponsible.

Yea don't agree with the younger than 35 bit. Stupid comes at any age. I've met some 17 year olds more mature than some 40 year olds. Generalizations like that don't do anyone good.

It irks me when someone wins and its the first time they ever played the lottery! People that don't have common sense. You know the ones that call a press conference to let the world know they won before the tickets claimed. People under 35 and over 80 winning. But I would lower that number to anyone under 30 and over 80. People that were in messed up relationships before they even won because the drama has just started. Any winner from California.

In my opinion, many(not all) younger (20 somethings)adults would blow it on partying and life in the fast lane.

Older people who are more settled tend to be more grounded and responsible, in my opinion.

I extended it to 35 for good measure. - Time to build more character!

When I was 16 I thought I was so mature and thought I knew all that I needed to know. The younger me may even have been offended by the older me stating that I am less then thrilled when a really young adult wins.

Whether you like it or not,the types of people you listed,their money is as viable as yours.

Hypothetically,if you started trimming of the kind of undesirables from playing the lottery in your world,the jackpots won't be as large.

Think about this point,there'll be lots of people with more money than sense who will no doubt be collectively spending millions to get this $1.5 billion.

They also have as much right as you to crack the big one.

Most of the time I am happy for the winner but sometimes, not so much. The following list (in no particular order), is who I'd rather not see win the top prize of a major jackpot:

3). A drug addict.
