The first thing I'm doing is booking a trip to the Maldives and staying in one of those over water beach bungalows with a private plunge pool with pure seclusion other than talking to my husband and reading a book while he smokes cigars beside me. That would be pure heaven.

It's a good question. The answer to that we have all been thinking about for the last 19 draws of Powerball (since Nov 7).

I like Maddog's idea - but I couldn't do it. For my first purchase - surf turf at our favorite restaurant. and for a non-consumable purchase - new carpet for the house (we would need it to sell - and we need it if we stay).

Absolutely, I agree Maddog. Would love to take them all in but unfortunately there are too many. A farm rescue would be great along with supporting shelters for animal needs. Pay for neutering clinics several times a month.

Animals give so much unconditional love, cant imagine a life without pets.

That's the right idea h-trax.

I'd buy about 100 acres in the Hill Country and build Mama her log home. Then I'd buy about 100 acres in the mountains about 80 miles east of El Paso that's in the middle of nowhere. That's the bug out place. LOL.

yeah a new one would involve waiting no doubt, so a last years model or what ever is deliverable the next day. hell id fly out to pick up and drive it home.

just something to get around in while i wait for the panamera to be optioned up and painted just right. then a house and a garage. then furniture, and then a holiday. only after all the money is safe and earning its keep. so when i get back form my holiday i am even richer... oh day dreams are over

Pay off my existing mortgage, catch a flight outta here to where I want to live and start looking at real estate. Guess a new(er) s560 mercedes would be in order too.

The only advise I would NOT take is to finance the home, if it was suggested for tax purposes. There would be NO MORTGAGE and taxes would be paid ahead for several years.

Yep, all contingent upon the net value of the win.
