I don't think there is much left to talk about, only a few states would have got close to a break even

status and most would loose big. I think there are several states with enough hits to consider the

list as beating the odds but it takes much more to make a profit. I don't know how much more I can

do with this list as I think it's another failed idea. The odds are 1 in 10K for a P-4 and with the list of

470 lines played for 75 games the total cost would be $35,250. The... [ More ]

Do you have the RNG vs Ball drawing information? I was wondering if that makes a difference.

I did look at OR. and see uses a RNG. Also, how many draws are covered in your last post?

Thanks, I will see what happens. The list is still not doing too well overall so I will keep tinkering.

The idea may not pan out but I have not been working on it very long but once I think it's maxed

out I plan on adding a game history analysis so it can be fine tuned to individual games.

Here is another list that should do a little better if you want to play around with it.

There are 470 lines, I think it hit 4ea straights in around 30 games. These list are

not based on any database so it will be interesting to see how they do across the

different states.

I posted these for their straight hits but from winsums post they don't show advantage when applied to

several states as some had no hits at all. I generated another list of 576 lines which does around 3x better

overall but I can't see any real value in a list that size for a pick-4 game. The program is part of a pre-draw

tool I had hoped would reduce any matrix down to a fraction of it's original size and still maintain a large

percentage of prizes which it seems to do q... [ More ]

Nice workout but your totals for MO don't match mine. I may have made a mistake as I had to run my test

one at a time and kept the counts in my head. Does your list count all box hits as I had several games with

as many as 4 box hits for a single drawing. From what you posted it looks like these lines fail to do well over

many states. Oh well, I will keep working as I have lots of room to adjust the tool.

I only tested evening draws and it's only a test. The 216 lines only account for 2 percent of possible lines

for a pick-4. The same tool hit 3 each 5of5's for my 5-39 in 13 games but the list had around 25K lines.

While it's not much help at this point it seems to show some promise for further development. The odds

for 75 games are 75*216= 16200 / 4 = around 1 in 4050 which is around 60% better than those given

for a daily p-4. I think I can improve the list quite a bit but it's too... [ More ]

Here is my upgraded tool for quick testing of your combinations against any state P3 and P4 data including triads up to 400 last draws (this should be enough).

In RL case just remove dashes from his combinations and paste them into 2nd box, then keep selecting states.

You'll automatically get test results after loading each state.

Some people have used this tool all the time so far, before adding the state selection block today.

From RL's 216 Pick 4 Sets I reduced them down to 165 removing the duplicate Pick 4 Boxed sets

Far right column is the total hits. Combined draws are 2 draws per day. Calculations are drawings not days.

So for example if a state has 2 draws per day 7 days a week I calculated only 75 past draws per Pick 4 game.

Hi all

Below is a link to download a text file which has 216 pick-4 lines. These lines averaged a P-4 str8

hit around 1.6 times every 30 games over the test that I ran. The list was generated from a tool I

am working on and are not based on my games history so they should produce similar results for

any P-4 game. Here in MO a p-4 straight pays $6K and it hit 4 times in around 2.5 months of draws.
