That's nots fair. They should atleast give some money back, or a free ticket. I still haven't spent more than $10 on a ticket. I bought 2 $10 and lost and was utterly disappointed. Luckily I made it up later in the week with $5 ones.

Last two times I bought tickets ,, Its been disaster

$60 spent on twelve $2,500 for life $5 tickets on Wed = Just a $10 win

$80 spent on four $3,000,000 Jumbo Bucks $20 tickets today = No wins

I break my buying down into qtrs (3 months for each qtr of year) and so far the 1st month of new qtr for me I am at -$250 in my spending

Sucks when you hit a skid ,, Probably will cut back my spending for a while to soften loss before jumping back in maybe in August or Sept

I bought 6 $2 tickets in wisconsin. All duds.

Contrast that my 2 chances strategy: bought 2 $5 games i never played or researched before just as souvenirs in different states. Won $10 and $15.

However i bought 2 $10 tickets and they were duds. Has anyone watched the youtube videos where someone buys a roll of $30 tickets? It's sad.

I used to scratch a lot. I used to go down a roll. Most o ever won was $500. I heard not all the time but every 3 tickets or so on the 20 dollars starting from #1 is a good chance. I hear the 20$ ones in the vending ma ch ine too are good u know. Places around me have sold $1 and $5 million dollar tickets. If the first or last don't have a winner I usually leave it alone in my mind

I've seen rolls that the first 10 in a row have winners and then the rest like 2..

Happens here in New York too, and I'm venturing just about everywhere else! Bought 10 $25 NY Millions tickets, 001-10, nothing.

And one would think that the next several tickets would have big money on them. Nope, #11 had $50, #13 had $50 and #17 had $100.

It wasn't until tickets 21-25 that there was a decent return, $220 total on four tickets but again, one would think that at least one ticket would be a big winner

I'm in California but I got caught up,in a losing streak on 5$ crossword starting at the rear of the pack as most vending machines here start from the last ticket I bought 79-68 all losers with 67 being a free ticket.

I think it's almost always a mistake to buy into a losing streak or chase a win as I call it. If you don't hit a winner in 4-6 tickets just walk away. It's a sign of a low payout pack.

You guys are hard core scratchers. The most I've ever bought from one roll is three cards. If I lose all three cards I'll buy a bunch or Daily 3 box picks as my punishment.

Last year, I think I lost over $100 in a day on scratchers. I was determined to make up my losses, so I took the other $100 that I had and ended up losing it within a minute. So, I had to make up for my losses by cancelling my internet service for 2 months. It was also my punishment for becoming too addicted to gambling.

how bout I post a picture of 50 20 and 25 $ tickets with some break evens and a lousy hundred dollars. I've had personally seen 7 losers in a row on 25$ tickets 3 times out of maybe 40 played 10 10$ dollar tickets in a row losers... [ More ]

It sucks, it does sting but it does happen....

Just yesterday I went 0 for 8 on the new PA $10 Fantastic 10's ticket...

a bit of a letdown not only because I zipped on $80 worth of tickets in a

row but because this ticket was treating me fairly decent. I might of been

ahead 20 or 40 dollars on it since they came out and yesterday I lost on two

from the beer store and 6 in a row at a local sheets. I then watched a kid buy

what they don't tell you on the pack about the odds is:

a 1:4 chance is the OVERALL odds for the entire run

of x million tickets printed.. not 1:4 for the pack of 60 or 100

that is sitting in the machine or store.

I've had times where I went through 17 $5 tickets with nothing.

other times I've had 4or 5 winners in a row and a few losers

then another 3 or 4 winners in a row. it's crazy.

Sorry for the loss! Unfortunately, it happens all of the time. Even though the odds in this case are one in four that is still no guarantee that there will be one winner in every four tickets. It doesn't work that way.

Either someone came in and won on the last ticket and unfortunately left you with the losers or there was a potentially big winner on the next ticket that you didn't purchase.

Im a Florida resident/player and....... well....... it happens.

I have lost...

13 consecutive $5 tickets

12 consecutive $10 tickets, followed by 1 $10 winner, and then 8 more losers.... 1 winner in 20 tickets.. on a $10 ticket...

6 in a row losers on a $20 and $25 game....

It sucks...

Sorry to hear that. Well I have seen 11 in a row in $5 rolls I bought, but I believe only 8 in a row with regular play. The last 8 Eagles tickets in the roll once lost. It's a bad feeling - I certainly know it. They go a little TOO uneven. Hopefully if you play more, you get in a good part of the roll and it evens out.

Unfortunately in Florida that has happened so many times. I've had 10 $10 dollar tickets lose in a row. $5 sheesh pretty sure sometimes you can go thru 15 in a row and their all duds

I had mentioned in a previous post that I usually only play scratch offs when the new cards are out the 1rst Tuesday of every month in NC and that usually works for me for I usually break even.
