I read all of Bobby's info and it all sounds so promising but I am in first grade and he is in graduate school sort of speak. I am not making excuses but I am a visual learner and repetitive at that. I am absolutely positive that his way, method of working the pick 3/4 combinations work but I am not very intelligent as to master his work. He is very very good at what he does..wishing him nothing less then success....

Probably more than won with the official drawing since there are more of them.

I suspect one reason to post them is to give the losers comfort that they might have won if their timing was different.

Maintaining game history tracking logs for the winning combinations require lot of time, effort and application of good lottery analysis techniques.

Why someone would want to track six pre-test combinations to avoid choosing previous combinations is beyond my comprehension.

There are only 4 pre-tests for the pick 3/4 games, but, again, why would anyone want to maintain up to 4 additional workouts that can't win anything!

Yep, because:

-Each time they draw from those chambers, they both minimize and maximize some form of a result in the end because the balls are still being drawn out and the 'law of probability' still applies.-

May not happen every single time but, an expected +/- result will take place when implementing such procedures.

There are 6 pre-tests for the Texas 6/54 Lotto game.

The official winning combination for 05/28/16 drawing is: 1.7.10.37.43.45

I compared the winning integers to the 36 pre-test integers.

1 - 0

7 - 1

10 - 0

37 - 1

43 - 1

45 - 0

Matches on same line - 0

Yes, this is kinda what I'm driving at. We're dealing with numbers and combinations here and the corresponding payouts are represented by those combinations. After all the pre and post test draws, if applicable, they can assess just how much money is made or lost on that straight, those pairs, and boxed combos based on averages from past payouts. bobby, I'm not sure what to make of this but, I do know that the pre-test results certainly play an important role here. They are the basis for a decent approach to the game and I think most people know this by now as I provided some detail on as to why it works. If needed. I'm also guessing that the absence of any evidence suggesting the drawings are being manipulated by some unseen mathematical force isn't going to deter those who believe otherwise.

I didn't realize that the Texas pre-test drawing results are being posted an hour or more before the official drawing. That's good to know for those who believe the tests have a role in lottery analysis.... [ More ]

Well its plain as day that in Texas the draws are not RNG. It doesn't matter what pairs pop up on what dates. With 4 draws a day you are likely to see a lot of coincidental things like dates and numbers.

All States Pick3 and Pick4 drawings are computer generated.

Random numbers never follow MONTHLY Date Pattern. BUT pick3 and pick4 drawings exactly follow dates as in the processor clock( pls don't ask me what is processor clock for right now)

If the drawings are random ball, then why TEXAS pick3 drawingpair 69 just popping up on DATES 09,07,02

Ok, I understand what you are asking.

I think you kinda answered already yourself. I don't see any understanding of the output because it is chaos in the mixing vessels. It's trying to make sense of random chaos. Pick 3 is the only game this is remotely possible, only because there are only 1000 possibilities (for straights). As for jackpot games, there are just too many combinations.

But I was hoping for comments about the action of the machines in the drawing process.

Seems most folks are comfortable analyzing the 'output' (winning integers) with little or no thought about how

the integers are chosen.

There are hundreds of statistics, charts, etc, that originators say can help a player come up with a winning combination, but

in reality have few if any clues anyone can use to decide what to play.

I have watched a draw, a long time ago. Funny about the math option of picking numbers. When I pick numbers for a jackpot game, it's usually a set of numbers that weren't drawn in the last draw. Also, I will leave out all the 50's when I pick numbers for Texas Lotto. It's simply a way to filter out numbers that I picked up from BobP. Doesn't work all the time, but neither does a QP.

I think there are so many math based systems because the people who use them are catching, or trying to catch, the short term patterns that they see. It works for a short time, then the pattern changes and they more on to a new system.

I'd rather watch for patterns like hot/cold/followers myself. These patterns appear to play out over longer timeframes, giving more opportunities to catch them in action. But watching a single drawing gives no clue why these patterns would work either.... [ More ]

A discussion about pre-tests is educational, but, I want to know what folks see while watching the machines at work.

I estimate that 90 percent or more of the systems and workouts are based on mathematical models - adding, subtracting, etc.

I've watched hundreds of drawings and I've never seen anything that would make me believe that winning integer selections are

managed by an algorithm or math formula, but, maybe I'm missing something.

Pre tests are kind of like going out at night every 10-15 minutes to start your car, because you want to make sure it starts when you leave for work in the morning. But it really doesn't matter, because if the battery dies, it ain't gonna start in the morning no matter how many times you started it that night.

Okay, looks like I was wrong, the results are posted up in a reasonable amount of time. Goes to show just how much attention I pay to something I never use or need. It still seems like they go through an awful lot just to pull a single ball from each pool. I mean, those machines are expensive and quality assured as are the ball sets. I've often brought up the idea of casinos and the idea of the dealer passing out cards to each player four times before dealing out an 'official hand.'

Yeah, I get it on the non-dependency aspect of pre-tests and I don't pay attention to them either. But, there may be those who have methods which would benefit from that opportunity. Looks like they shut things down ten minutes prior to actual start of the process. So, for the last draw tonight, I'm going to try and see exactly what time they post pre-test results. I'm curious like that.

I don't think the lottery is concerned about the so-called 'window' of opportunity for players to adjust their betting schemes.

I think the team that conducts the tests and official drawing have a schedule and post the pre-test draw results at certain times.

Apparently there is at least one hour between the last pre-test and official drawing, which is plenty of time for adjustments, if the player

has a computer and can get to a terminal before the draw break.

Is this accurate? Do they post the pre-test results in time enough for a player to review, get their own numbers ready, and then play them? Or, are you saying that they simply post the pre-test results before they post the official draw results? There are 3 machines for Pick 3 and 12 or more ball sets with each set having 10 numbered balls.

Each machine has 3 separate but attached vessels.

The machine and ball sets are chosen according to a confidential plan.

In Pick 3, there are 10 balls in each of the 3 vessels; in Daily 4 there are 10 balls in each of 4 vessels.

If there were fewer or more than 10 balls in a vessel the drawing would be corrupt, and someone would probably

be looking for another job.

I've always wondered why they have to have so many machines and ball sets to begin with. I get that they want to avoid any tampering with the machines or balls. But a few years ago on one of the Comcast channels, could have been one of the On Demand channels, they had a demonstration of the lottery drawing.

They showed everything from going into the room where everything is kept, unlocking the case where the balls are, right up to the drawing. With all the security they had just to get into t... [ More ]

Not all states publish pre-tests.

The methods used for tests are no different from the actual winning drawings, just different results.

If Wisconsin is using mechanical ball machines, the selection should be the same as Texas, or any other state using mechanical machines.

If, however, your state is using computers - well, that's a different story.

We can't monitor the selection process but whatever method is used is probably standardized and replicated for the drawings.

I've been reading LP posts for over 10 years.

One thing I've noticed is that a lot of lottery players, based on what they post, have never viewed

an actual drawing.

Texas has ball machine drawings that are streamed on-line 4 times per day.

The website is txlottery.org.

It would interesting reading to know what players see during an actual drawing.
