			<description><![CDATA[<p>Thanks for that link...It lists pretests and more importantly ball number. Meaning what number was drawn first and not just the numbers in order from lowest to highest number. Have any of you looked into finding patterns when it comes how the numbers are drawn? Possibly look for clusters. Are the power balls stacked the same way each time in the machine before being dropped? 			<description><![CDATA[<p>According to Sue Dooley, Director of Draws and Production at the Multi-State Lottery Association, Post-tests [for the Powerball Lottery] were discontinued effective March 9, 2016.<br /><br />When you think of it, they were kind of a waste of time anyway since they already ran 4 pre-tests before the drawing.<br /><br />Someone asked for the testpb.doc file in Excel. 			<description><![CDATA[<p>As info, the link you posted goes to the Powerball Historical Winning Numbers, not pre-test drawings.<br /><br />As far as unmarked balls, they would verify the machine functionality, however numbers are required to verify patterns do not exist (i.e. certain numbers appearing more than the tolerance). This is where four sets of balls are also involved. If one set repeats numbers frequently but the other three sets do not then something is askew with the one set of balls.</p>]]></description>
