They do that if the games has different game number, put the prize together! But you know there is a top prize. There might be more than 1 but if there is not at least one top, then they cannot put it on the prize report update! This goes for cashword 10$ 1163

The top,prize report isn't always updated on Mondays. Prizes of the same game but different numbers are often lumped together and as of 10AM today the report is screwed up. The Atlas was updated the next day, went back as far as a year if I can remember correctly and could be filtered by the game. I could also see what area had high payouts and decide whether to avoid them in favor of areas that didn't have large winners in the last 6 months. Yes that is why I don't like collecting the remaining tickets before it expires and foremost keep releasing new tickets so they have many reason to take them back. Atlas may seem good before increase in retail! Now they don't have to put that out to increase sales so it gives them many reason to take it out. That is what I truly believe. From what i understand gtech collected the remaining tickets earlier this year. The OP of this thread made a lot of noise and worked very hard to expose this.

My strategy with using the Atlas may not have been the best, but it was easy for me.

Sorry post got refresh didn't get through this morning! It is a game of chance so if you follow the atlas how does it help you win? Ny Million was released with 4 jackpot I presume and 3 of them has been won already, 2 won this year in 2 weeks or less. They printed out a range of book numbers but release so many to the public at one time throughout 18000 retailer which not all of them has because it require 1250$ investment. Of course you dont have to buy from a machine, but you do realize there are jackpot winners in machines. Two of which were from the game th is post is about.

My method was to use the atlas. They got rid of the atlas, i stopped playing instant games. Problem solved.

Frenzy 5$ is overdue and odd is 1 in 3million. The first jackpot of 4 has been won since a long time and should be overdue. The next jackpot to hit would be in 2nd lowest range the older range. Instead of 1-30000, 30001-60000 is the best option in hitting the next jackpot for New York $5 frenzy.

Nice try! A vending machine won't be able to tell you which book number it gives you from a ticket. But you can scout other people playing a ticket in vending machine either by the garbage or by looking at the ticket the guy brought. Another option is to buy 1 and check for yourself. The atlas was an information tool. In my opinion there is no such thing as too much info when it comes to being a consumer. Whether you chose to use the atlas is on the individual but they should be given the choice.

An informed and educated consumer is counter productive to thier profit model...

Books are not always released in order but if you can find a retailer that will tell you what book number they are selling before you purchase than more power to you. It is also impossible to tell what book number a vending machine has before you put your non refundable money in AND NYS lottery will not show you parts of the winning ticket that will reveal what book it came from. You'll be lucky if they even show the ticket number.

They are not making as much money with the atlas! But that doesn't help either! If you to keep track of it every day! The atlas makes it worse! To keep track of it you need to witness it by either seeing real ticket or photocopy of real ticket at store! What helps is the book number! That tells you if it is worth to play! With the winners atlas location and prize amounts for jackpot games was available the day after the draw. With instant games it was the day after the ticket is scanned. Winners didnt have to claim or cash in and the info was available.

Now you have to wait until the winner decides to claim the prize and hope the lottery updates the website.

If i purchased a jackpot winner this past Monday and scanned it to make sure I'm not seeing things, previously players would have seen that on Tuesda... [ More ]

Good reading! You don't need to update jackpot atlas, giving 1 week is enough time! People might not cas the ticket right away, so who knows...if someone who until update is release. You need to be smart and focus on games that either have more jackpot or should I say full jackpot, nobody won yet or games that can't be order and still has jackpot. Nothing in between! My experiences with this game are well documented on LP so I won't rehash the numerous posts. I will however, for the record state that the NYS Lottery has moved to a morally questionable business model.

Over the past 5 or so years they have gone above and beyond to mislead consumers and make winning ticket info not easily accessible.

Who cashed in this ticket? Was it you rgse90? How did you find this ticket when nobody else sold it? There are still 7 50k and 1 top price of a million dollar for life. So we finally cashed in the 50 thousand dollar ticket. We cashed it in at Resorts in Ozone Park. We ended up paying a little over 18 thousand in taxes and the check was 31 thousand.

ALL the small prize tickets that we have saved since 2008 were cashed in for about 50 thousand cash. Because they are small prizes we did not have to pay taxes on it.
