Trouble is, I'll have to drive all the way over to Boston to claim my prize.

Well that would be terrible. Of course you probably won't have to drive anywhere, and even if you do win you'll probably be able to just drive to the nearest MA retailer.

I've got a MA MM ticket from June in my wallet, and it's worth a whole dollar. I'm certainly not going to make a special trip, but I'll be over there for one reason or another before it expires next June.

I think a lot of players are waiting too, but that said, one person in Illinois hit the MM jackpot last nite.

To your point, it's all about coverage of the hundreds of millions of possible combinations. The more tickets that are sold, larger the numbers of combinations that become covered, increasing the likelyhood of a jackpot being hit.

I play for practice it's fun to predict outcomes, crossword puzzles aren't for me.

Can you expect to win playing 2 tickets, rarely. Playing here with multiple numbers you might get results, but in real life you'd go broke.

Only play PICK 3 unless your a mathematical savant.

I agree about the jackpot size hype especially considering the odds against winning the jackpot are exactly the same as they were in the last 29 MM drawings when nobody hit the jackpot. But jackpots are approaching levels where lots more tickets will be sold and more likely the jackpot will be hit. There were no PB winners in the last 17 drawings so if those who play hoping to win a jackpot there was no chance in the last 29 MM drawings and 17 PB drawings.

Call me crazy if you want to, but I never pay an ounce of attention to the advertised jackpots. I rarely play MM or PB, but when I do I add The Megaplier and The PowerPlay. That's because I'm more excited about winning lower tier prizes than I am the jackpot.
