The difference between us and Tipton is that he had the knowledge and ACCESS.

I believe he told his employer (MUSL) that the drawings could be rigged.

They blew him off.

So, he took advantage of the situation with an outcome we know about.

Players with or without knowledge, but no access, are spending millions trying to 'rig' a drawing to their benefit.

I think what we do to win is 'fair and square.'

Another good American Greed show, wish they would have talked to more people at his work about who he was ect. Should be interesting to see what happens/where he goes when he gets out.

I don't think that what he did was a scam in the sense that he robbed people of their life savings with some sort of Ponzi scheme, as is often portrayed on the show.

He figured out a way to beat the lottery system, albeit by rigging the drawings. The rest of us are also trying to come up with a way to beat the lottery system with the P3, P4, or P5.

Coin Toss, Tipton may be incarcerated in a minimum security prison. He poses no threat to his fellow inmates. He is not an escape threat.

Tipton and his relatives are suffering together. A very embarrassing life event.

Watching this Tipton American Greed segment was somewhat like watching a Better Call Saul episode . . we already knew the storyline and how it turns out. Looks like potential random-number-generator security deficiencies will ALWAYS be a possibility!

Kudos to Iowa Assistant Attorney General Rob Sand, who prosecuted the case.

Eddie Tipton MAY only be incarcerated for 5-7 years . . and will probably have a stack of cyber-security job offers when released.

The same here grwurston, I watched American Greed Tipton show right after Sean, I wouldnt miss Hannity for anything!

It was a good show on Tipton, pretty much spelled it all out. Obviously what he did was very wrong, but the daily temptation, what ifs, must have been horrible.
