I posted this before but here's the reader's Digest version.

The California in Vegas had (maybe still does) a 5 Spot ticket that paid $1,000 for 5 of 5.

One of the high rollers that liked to play craps would give the Keno runner a stack of blacks ($2,000) to play the \same 5 spot at $50 a game for 40 games. This guys' luck was incredible. At the casino I go to, all the keno machines, including at the bar, have a 95% return. I play 6 spot keno. The probability of getting all 6 is 1 in 7,752, and I win it about once a month.

The worst bet in the house is live keno. Slot machines are between the two.

I generally look for patterns in the days that numbers have won.

Example: These were the first five times that Virginia drew 104.

Sat, Oct 2, 2004 Virginia Pick 3 Day 1-0-4

Thu, Mar 5, 1998 Virginia Pick 3 Day 1-0-4

Lucko,

I worked in casinos and some of the bosses would hang around the bar after work and play Keno (80 number).

They usually played 5 spot or fewer numbers, and they played connected groups (such as 2 11 12 21 22.

So the ticket looked like

You would have thought these guys would have known better as Keno was 'the worst bet in the house but had that reputation because people were going after the big payoffs.

These guys won more often than you'd think.

D'oh! to me...

I choose a combination of 10 numbers from the first 30 and eliminate the other 40. Keno in Quebec (Called Banco) it play with 70 numbers.

I am trying to play a 10-digit combination that has come out most often in the last hundred draws.

The experience is not very conclusive so far...

Hi! You didn't say what criteria you use.

The Most Drawn Numbers in State Keno: 3, 16, 44, 58 and 78

The probability of hitting all twenty numbers is nearly mathematically impossible, because the odds are so astronomically high, approximately 1 in 3.5 quintillion (or 3,535,316,142,212,173,800.000).
