Wow I didn't know about that tradition. When our kids were little, they would always pick up acorns off the ground, pocket them, take them home. We would always find acorns around the house. It was mildly annoying to us at the time to step on one or pick them out of the washer and dryer. But maybe they were onto something that we just didn't understand.

Predestination. Fate. Timing.

Some people are predestine to a certain path. That path can change.

I remember reading up on that study, and the only thing that struck me as potentially off was a the trust your intuition portion.

I think that more specifically, most people naturally start out listening to their intuition, and those who are favored by chance early on conclude, My intuition can be trusted, while those who are not favored by chance early on conclude, My intuition cannot be trusted.
