I'm not sure what ranges your Mega Millions alpha categories cover, but the most logical seems to be seven equal sized intervals of 10 numbers each.

1 through 10 = A

11 through 20 = B

21 though 30 = C

31 through 40 = D

41 through 50 = E

51 through 60 = F

61 through 70 = G

Or do you divide them up differently? I'm not convinced anyone can beat a lottery game that uses physical balls as a randomizer, whether their methods are statistical based or pattern matching based.

IHeartMath and Oate

Thanks for posting.

I offer the following as constructive criticism made without malice.

Great charts. Lots of useful data.

However, as far as I can tell, the charts have one major flaw - no guideposts that would help

a User identify the best pairs or triples to play.

Should I choose data having the higher inventory count?

Or maybe, I should choose data with a low count?

Or, should I choose a mix?

What and where are the 'triggers' that would help me... [ More ]

I can give that a shot. The spread sheet is probably too big to do that, but I can split it up into separate ones.

My rationale is mainly because of the fact that there has never been a repeat of a 4 or 5 number combination. Not even within the numbers that have always been in play which are 1 through 50.

IHeartMath, you can upload them to any file sharing site, like pcloud or dropbox, and post a link. The only hitch is that you won't be able to add links to your posts until you have a higher forum level, which will happen over time as you post more.

I am curious about your rationale for including all historical draw data for MM in a single spreadsheet. Every time they change the format, it effectively becomes a new game even if the name stays the same.

Here are some facts and figures for... [ More ]

I actually have a librecalc spreadsheet (it's an equivalent to Microsoft Excel) with all of the winning numbers from the first drawing of Mega Millions on September 6, 1996. I have it set up in such a way that I can easily update it by copying and pasting the information from the past results tab on the usamega website. It translates the date into a numeric date format and places that numeric date in a separate column and it separates each number and the mega number into it's own separate column... [ More ]
