If you really believe even/odd and/or high/low configurations are patterns, simply use the Inspector 3 or Inspector 4 analysis. I use them and search results from results pages all the time.

With a three digit number there are 8 different high/low configurations, 8 even/odd, and 8 in/out. And four digit numbers have 16. Each digit position has a 50% chance of drawing one or the other. When you combine 2, 3, or 4 digit positions the chances become higher.

If we look at the 0-9 numerical scale, both the #4 and #5 are actually mid-range digits. No? Even if we take the all even scale of 0,2,4,6,8 and all odd scale of 1,3,5,7,9 both those digits fall right in the mid-range of their respective scales...and they're very unique in this regard. In my opinion, 457 would translate into:

4= ME

5= MO

7=HO

457 = ME MO HO.

Specifics do matter to an extent.

IMO, the best way is to keep it simple. Flip a coin, heads is high and tails is low and do that for each digit position. You'll have 125 pick-3 combos and 625 pick-4 combos. Now comes the neat part; flip the coin again for each digit position only this time heads is even and tails is low. The results is 8 to 27 pick-3 straight combos and 16 to 81 pick-4 straight combos.

Good luck with your coin flipping
