I agree with you that the net profits are the only thing that matters when talking about beating the lottery. Thing is, you will never know who is actually ahead because you don't know (and never will know) how much people are spending. Again, if you could read, you would have picked that up.

There are tons of systems to use on this site. If a person plays to catch up then maybe they should quit gambling. I've been playing for a long time and use many methods to win. I do well because I constantly track the numbers. I spend alot of time working at winning.

Even people who incessantly brag about their ability to predict lottery numbers shouldn't post them so publicly, because it doesn't actually prove they can predict better than average. Only pictures of all their winning and losing tickets could prove that claim. But nobody will ever admit how many losing tickets they actually buy.

I drop numbers that hit soon after cuz I change my mind too much. Not enough patience.

Also I gotta play things the experts in my state suggest.

The hardest thing will be trusting myself. I sometimes have good strategies but never know if I'm on to something or not. Change my mind and boom I miss it.

I usually play random numbers I generate myself or quick picks. Havent been too lucky with that strategy. This year I'm gonna try more personal numbers to shake it up. There's no secret to winning a 5 ball or 6 ball jackpot game, it's just pure luck.

Well uuh,... If 357 were the next draw in your example, but occurred more or less than 1000 draws before, or especially happened to occur 2,675 after your noted point of reference, then it negates your definition of Average ...I think the term you're referring to is Probability of 1 in 1000...!!

The Average is determined by how many actual occurrences , divided by 1000 draws...in your example...

Of course a particular set of numbers will come up eventually. eg pick 3 with the numbers 357. The problem is that the average number of drawings that will occur until 357 is chosen (win $500 on a $1 bet) is 1,000. If you have to play 1,000 times at $1 a game before you win $500, you have lost $500.

357 could be the next drawing or it could be 2,675 drawings from now. But the average is, without a doubt, 1,000.

I had always wanted to buy a book too so one Christmas I stopped by the claims office of all places to buy a book for my Christmas gift to myself....it was on my way home from work so the book I wanted they did not have so I decided on another one since a lady who was there cashing in a ticket said she won $1000 by buying that same book.

Don't advise spending too much money on any lottery drawing...especially if you haven't an analysis of its Stats.. Study and analysis will help you make better choices as to which ,if any, numbers should be left out of your tickets..

Don't play heavy unless a pair is very due and it's obviously going to hit multiple times soon. I'm talking it's hit once in a month and normally hits 4 times. Never play heavy otherwise.

Don't full combo bet normally just 50 cent if you feel strongly on one or two numbers. Don't think you can pick out one number per pair for several pairs and actually win enough to profit. Don't play everyday and don't even think about lotto at all for a couple days a week.

One idea I'm working on is sums of pairs.

Example

14,15.

17,05

Follow these sums. Chart.

Is the 14 going to show up as a pair 77 in the future? Make a detailed chart and see what you have.

I hit some str box's with this idea.

I do this with p3 and go back 25 draws or more.

Simplify my filtering. The more filters you have the more things you need to get right in order to get a win. When tracking, find something that tends to hit in streaks, rather then back and forth, back and forth. That way you can just roll with the streak.

Personally, my lottery goal for 2020, is to hit consistent straights with the Pick 4 doubles.

But I'm gonna have to do a little more homework though first.

Ive been playing the lotto for a long time, many years.

I had a very good year and just bought some p3 tickets for the first day of the year! I mainly bet p3 and I buy a couple of powerball, mm tickets a week. I'm constantly zeroing in on pick 3 with all the methods on this site! The key to all of this is only bet when you a really sure you will win even if it's just a back pair or front pair. I don't know what to do different probably nothing. The odds are very clear when i purchase a ticket so i am prepared to lose money. But you can't win if you don't play and someone always hits eventually, why can't it be me. They went in a bought a ticket just like me and hit, so again i stand just as much chance as well. you're right on! Thanks for your honesty. Most people will tell you what they win but never how much they lost. If everyone was here winning they wouldn't be coming back trying to find the holy grail system which doesn't exist. Unless you hit a JP,the lottery is a losing proposition no matter what the game. I hit over $7000( got lucky and hit P4 str*) in one year and sadly threw it back over the following year. I've hit 4/5 a few times on 5/39. But overall I've lost.

One or two tickets per draw didn't yield much results in 2019. 2020 I plan to wager bigger amounts. Instead of buying one or two PB tickets I will purchase 20 lines. I usually buy two scratchers at a time. But in 2020 I will purchase the whole book. I won't play as often like every week. But when I do I'm going BIG!! LOL

Every year at this time I evaluate what I play and how much. In 2018 I spent about $2700, didn't come close to breaking even. So for this year I was determined to spend less, and I did. $1200. Still didn't break even
