If you don't win, then learn: throw in bad deals and start in a new or different game that you have an edge to win.

"Don't stay at the tables too long." as the losing odds will betray you.

Every year at this time I evaluate what I play and how much. In 2018 I spent about $2700, didn't come close to breaking even. So for this year I was determined to spend less, and I did. $1200. Still didn't break even

So, for 2020, I'm still deciding what to spend. I always play the jackpot games. Tx 2 Step, MM, and PB, and Cash 5 once in a while. I play MM and PB really hoping to just hit second prize. At my age, with the powerplay/megaplier I can retire off that. One thing I learned over the years is that even the small games like Cash 5 with much better odds are still difficult to come out ahead. So I figured if I'm going to spend money on any game it might as well be a game that can really change my life. So, I lay off Pick 3 and Pick 4.

I watched you eddie. I was really impressed that you won so much money the year before last ($7000?). And it made me think about playing scratchoffs really hard instead of draw games (I rarely play scratchers). But reading between the lines on your blog, I realized you didn't make a profit.

I've been playing the lottery for over 30 years, and if there's one thing I learned, it's that it is a losing proposition. Controlling your spending is most important, as I think you have learned yourself. We play hoping Lady Luck will visit, but in the back of our minds know that the odds are what they are.

😒haven't given much thought to changing my strategy

but figure on spending a tiny bit more when I do play and on albeit rare occasion, buy into the multiplier

One or two tickets per draw didn't yield much results in 2019. 2020 I plan to wager bigger amounts. Instead of buying one or two PB tickets I will purchase 20 lines. I usually buy two scratchers at a time. But in 2020 I will purchase the whole book. I won't play as often like every week. But when I do I'm going BIG!! LOL

Play a few sets in advance at least minimum of 50 cent to keep me in the game.

I played 983 Sunday evening , it hit Monday evening.

you're right on! Thanks for your honesty. Most people will tell you what they win but never how much they lost. If everyone was here winning they wouldn't be coming back trying to find the holy grail system which doesn't exist. Unless you hit a JP,the lottery is a losing proposition no matter what the game. I hit over $7000( got lucky and hit P4 str*) in one year and sadly threw it back over the following year. I've hit 4/5 a few times on 5/39. But overall I've lost.

My spending has greatly decreased over the years. Play a couple of times a month 5/39. No more p3 or p4 .Pic3 and 4 is a guessing game. Always 1 number off! lol.

It's always possible that I'm wrong~

But that's never at the top of my list of possibilities.

I don't know what to do different probably nothing. The odds are very clear when i purchase a ticket so i am prepared to lose money. But you can't win if you don't play and someone always hits eventually, why can't it be me. They went in a bought a ticket just like me and hit, so again i stand just as much chance as well. I think the most i will do is limit each draw to one ticket instead of several for PB and MM. The other games that i do hit with better chances put that extra money into them, least i win something back unlike PB and MM where i get a few dollars here and there. Its a shame they raised MM to $2 it's odds such too.

I sympathize with you, Lottomeister. My New Year's resolution is not to play any of the State sponsored Lottery Games to include Pick 3; Pick 4 (I never played Pick 4) or Pick 6. Instead I'm going to concentrate my efforts on Mega Millions and Powerball. At least I can cure all of my previous ill's in one fell swoop should I win. Good Luck to you in 2020 !

Sometimes it's extremely difficult if not practically impossible to get people to disregard the smoke and mirrors. Instead, they seem to enjoy the ride down the proverbial Garden Path....... helpless to extricate themselves from being totally deceived by known forces in their midst who would argue that they have come here for the sole purpose of helping people. These forces would also argue that they have a winning MIRACLE system; that is, until asked to post numbers before the drawing !

Ive been playing the lotto for a long time, many years.

I had a very good year and just bought some p3 tickets for the first day of the year! I mainly bet p3 and I buy a couple of powerball, mm tickets a week. I'm constantly zeroing in on pick 3 with all the methods on this site! The key to all of this is only bet when you a really sure you will win even if it's just a back pair or front pair. Watch the sums ,hot cold etc. Keep track of your game with notebooks and the hits are there. I have a computer room with charts ,notebooks etc. Get organized. It takes some work but it pays off. I just bought a new 55 inch tv with a pick 3 straight and I am enjoying the football games.

Simplify my filtering. The more filters you have the more things you need to get right in order to get a win. When tracking, find something that tends to hit in streaks, rather then back and forth, back and forth. That way you can just roll with the streak.

Personally, my lottery "goal" for 2020, is to hit consistent straights with the Pick 4 doubles.

But I'm gonna have to do a little more homework though first.

List Pick 3 singles by low sums, high sums. Separate each sum row by consecutive pair and non consecutive pair combos. These 3 pair groups. 14 17 47, 25 28 58, 36 39 69 are in 63 combos. 54 combos do not have them. Which sums do the 3 pair groups appear and not appear? Look at root sum groups 147, 258, 369. Play accordingly.

Nm has alot of repeat pairs in p4.

One idea I'm working on is sums of pairs.

Example

6878

14,15.

9814

17,05

Follow these sums. Chart.

Is the 14 going to show up as a pair 77 in the future? Make a detailed chart and see what you have.

I hit some str box's with this idea.

I do this with p3 and go back 25 draws or more.
