What are adjacents? you might be asking yourself. Repeaters and Adjacent numbers happen a lot.

Adjacent Numbers, are numbers on either side of Lotto numbers that hit in the last drawing. So, Adjacent Numbers are one number higher or one number lower than a winning number from the previous drawing. For example, if Lotto Number 17 won in the last drawing, its Adjacent numbers would be 16 and 18 for the next drawing. Or, if number 30 won in the last game, its Adjacent numbers for the next game

It's got 14 hits this year (in 64 drawings) and that's only one hit behind 2025's hits leader which is #26 with 15 hits.

You have to understand something about how I play FF5 that I made no mention of in my post above. I think of FF5 as a game where I'm playing for a jackpot win due to it's lower odds.

With PB or MM, I don't play them for a jackpot win because the odds of winning a jackpot are so astronomically stacked against players. It's some extra work, but they'd definitely reply to you if you sent them a Freedom Of Information Act form. (FOIA)

I'm not sure where or how you could get a FOIA for Florida. Googling it would probably provide the answer. How you could get it to them electronically, I don't know either. I guess you'd be stuck with The U.S. Mail.

there have been several and it makes me wonder if it is a new ball set. the numbers are tracking a bit differently. i know that they change the ball sets every 2-3 years. i have also asked in the past with no response, do they use the same machine. or do they rotate them? how many do they have for Fantasy 5. because sometimes day numbers are tracking one way, evening another and then they jump back and forth. i used to think that only paying night had a better payout but you could hit 4# in mid

11 hits is a lot of hits for one month. Usually the biggest hitter of any month has 13 or 14 hits so #28 has the inside track to become the top hitter of January 2025.

I looked through all of my spreadsheets and I DON'T have the total numbers of combo's that exist composed of only numbers from the twenty's number group.

Sorry, I cant write code, and it'd take some one with coding skills to get the number. My software doesn't have the functionality required to find that number either.

Here is just a thought.....lets say one looks at a particular draw like midday and a certain amount of numbers reach say 10 in 30 days then maybe look at say last 20 draws and then think which numbers have a chance to do 10 out of 30 and then look for them to come in for those next 10 draws

Normally I don't break them down between the midday and evening draws because the software I use doesn't have a function to strip out the midday or evening draws. Be nice if it did it, but unfortunately it's a manual effort for me to count the numbers. My guess is over a long enough period of time it'd work out to about a 50/50 split. (The top hitter would appear the same number of times in each drawing.)

Although I dont know the odds of it happening, I can tell you that it happens more than most players think/realize that it does. Remember too, that the actual draw order is different than that of what you see printed in a newspaper.

There have been at least 1,000 times that a set of 4 numbers were drawn that also appeared in a previous drawing. (My software has a bug in it that the developers say they're working on, but it never gets fixed. The Florida Lottery started FF5 drawings July of 20... [ More ]

Well we're now in mid-December and #28 came out again last night.

That was the 123rd hit for #28 in 2024. #'s 17 and 25 are in second place with 109 hits each, so they wont challenge #28 for Top Hitter of the Year honors.

Well, 35 of FF5's 36 numbers have now been drawn at least once in November. #3 is the lone exception, and it's skipped the last 39 drawings. Many players say that #3 is due or over due to hit soon. I'd give it extra play when picking my numbers. Most numbers do hit within one months time so to me it's worth playing. Of course, there definitely are exceptions to that. The short answer to your question about JPT numbers is YES!

The long answer is still yes, but in November of 2024, there have only been three JPT drawings (the 3rd drawing being held tonight) so I dont have any quality data as far as which JPT numbers have hit the most this month.

As for the calendar year of 2024, JPT's hottest number is #44 with 22 hits. #41 is ranked second in 2024 with 20 hits this year.

It's nearly the end of August and #28 still has the most hits this year with 89. Two numbers, 14 25, sit in second place way behind #28 with 81 hits. #28 is tied with number 13 for the most hits in August with 13.

I've had the same thoughts. I mainly play FF5 because it's got better odds to win a jackpot, but even then I've found myself wondering what I would do with the money? Like most people we have credit card debt, but we don't let it get very big. The Florida Lottery says that if you match 6 numbers on any one line of a JPT ticket the odds of doing that are 3,122,273 to 1. That's technically correct because they sell you three lines for one dollar on one ticket. Some FF5 player's are pretty slick....

On August 1, in a Publix in Tallahassee , someone cashed a FF5 ticket that had won a Free Ticket. They then bought a player picked ticket with the exact same set of five numbers that appeared on their Free Ticket. Each ticket won $29,517.

With regard to JPT, I have a new strategy to pick my numbers and it seems to be working out OK. I won some cash using it a week ago today.

First, when I play JPT, which is only when the jackpot is a million dollars or more, I play at least one number from the previous draw (a repeater) and one or two adjacent numbers from the previous drawing. I play five games, and I always buy The Combo option, so each ticket costs me two dollars, and all five tickets cost me ten bucks.

In last night's FF5 drawing, #28 popped for the 77th time this year and is running away with the lead. The closest number to it is #14 with 72 hits.

I haven't been playing FF5 recently. Instead I've been buying JPT tickets because the jackpot was 2 million dollars. One winner in Pompano Beach last night....

Well it's crow eatin' tome for me. Since March 20th of 2022, FF5 has had two drawings per day. Since then, one number skipped 60 drawings (from July 2, 2023 to August 1, 2023) and that's the record that has not been broken. #29 is the number that sat out those 60 consecutive drawings and set the record for the most number of drawings skipped. Since one week ago today, June 30th, out of the 14 FF5 drawings that have been held since then, 11 of them have been ROLLDOWNS!

It's no secret that FF5's #28 has been smokin' hot this year... that's IF you read this thread of course! Here's some other info about it that should give you good reasons to keep playing it every time you play FF5 -

#28 is ranked fifth all time with 1,172 hits. It's ranked second in the last 730 FF5 drawings with 121 hits, only 5 hits behind #13 which has 126 hits. (730 draws is a rolling one years worth of drawings)
