The statement about the quads are correct; the 3333 drawings were Tue. 07/10/1984, Fri. 06/30/1989, and the first quad drawn in the daytime was Sat. 04/29/2000 (D).

The first Maryland 4-ball drawing was Fri. 04/08/1983, and the first daytime drawing was Mon. 05/01/1995.

They are rigging their financial liability, not the game. If they didn't put a cap on certain numbers when those numbers were overplayed relative to other numbers, then they would have to make the payout pari-mutuel in the event an overplayed number was drawn. That's because the amount of revenue that has to be paid out in the form of prizes and the amount that has to be sent to the education fund (or whatever) is set by law, there's not much wiggle room. I think it's an interesting coincidence.

If you want to talk about the concept of the lottery being rigged, one thing many lotteries do on Pick 3,4, and 5 games is if too many people buy a certain combination of numbers, the lottery temporarily suspends the sale of those combinations so they don't have to make a huge payout.

To determine if its rigged you have to do a FORENSIC AUDIT.

The Covid-19 numbers are rigged. There should be a FORENSIC audit.

Md started a pick 4 eve drawing in 1984. They started a mid pick 4 drawing in 2000.

The first 2 eve quads ever drawn were both 3333. The very first mid quad drawn was 3333.

From 84-99 they had a total 7 quads. No more than 1 in a year.

2000 thru 2020 they never had more than 2 quads a year. That happened 7 times, about every 3-4 years. 2000-2004-2007-2010-2013-2017-2020.

I am probably wrong. But the Christmas eve draw in nc, will have millions playing it next year on Christmas eve. This will be the payback nc will have next year. More money for nc education.

But sometimes they want a big payout to draw more attention. I know there is some influence in selecting the machines in certain states after the test runs. But the ball sets are still random.

So I guess drawing the current month and date on any particular day is due to chance only.

Rigging the machine to play the date could very well be a marketing strategy.It creates a buss among the public drawing attention to the game while creating an illusion that winning is as easy as playing the date.

Many people think both but I was happy to see that payout I think NCEL is trying harder to please the pick 4 players here . We have many that play quads day in and day out both draws and we have just as many that will play the date hoping that comes out. Probability low however they can spare some change with new schools being built I think I should have an entire gym named after me HAHAHA j/k

Exactly. 1224 being drawn on Christmas Eve is pretty good confirmation that it's NOT rigged. Why in the world would the lottery choose to draw a commonly-played combination, forcing them to pay out millions in extra prizes? Makes no sense at all.

It was obviously rigged, and the reason they rigged it to come up 1224 on 12/24 was to maximize how much they paid out. I mean why else would they rig the game unless it was to maximize the payout and reduce their own profit

Indiana's evening draw on 12-20-2021 was 1220. Ohio's evening draw on 12-12-2021 was 1212. Pennsylvania's evening draw on 12-21-2021 was 1220, and it still paid over four million dollars. People do play the actual dates and also birthdays throughout the year. These seem like more than just coincidences. Nevertheless, congrats to all the winners as these were nice Christmas gifts.

Back in the day I thought state lotteries might fix one drawing a month just to make payroll. The payoff would be much less noticeable than $4.5 million in NC and some players could collect too.

I had just enough time to get just one pick-4 box winner on a Oho Lottery drawing coincidence when the the final score (42-39) of the Ohio State - Michigan football game was drawn about 20 minutes after the game ended. I wanted to play that number straight 3 times and boxed 3 times, but was shut out.
