Yep, we worked that kind of simulation before.

An idealized distribution gives the general expectation, but doesn't incorporate any subtle fluctuations from the live data.

From what I implemented and tested, it appears that using the sample distribution is not good enough. I'll re-implement with a simulated distribution and see if the test results improve.

Was the distribution formed from a sum of 3 picks? Yes, it looks like you are constraining column by column on an ordered data set.

I implemented a bit differently in that I chose that max of the sample distribution (rather than simulate to get a high sample distribution approaching the expected distribution, assuming uniform random selection to form the expected distribution).

The =DisimulateNexus(N, D, Z , Z ) function is applied to each column individually.
