There is no in-depth knowledge of statistics that you need, but there are a couple of things that are relevant. You need a knowledge of Probability and the hit frequency for whatever you're playing. It is helpful to know about relative or empirical frequency which is what I use. The sampling I use goes back many years and ideally you would want to use the entire history of draws for the state. The more data you have the better. I also use concepts I haven't ever seen in Statistics that I have de... [ More ]

It's best to keep it as simple and as basic as possible. There is no need for a neural network or Artificial Intelligence to learn patterns and make predictions when you have your brain. You don't need in-depth knowledge of statistics neither, although this can help.

It doesn't even take a system to reduce your choices to one pick, but what you're saying should tell you something. A system involves more than picking or choosing numbers to play. It involves knowing when to play and it should have a way of protecting you from losing streaks that could wipe you out as part of it. The hit frequency was touched upon which means that a system should be providing you with a group of numbers to play as opposed to just one pick in order to increase the hit frequency.... [ More ]

Sure, it's easier to pick numbers are random than to study draw history and keep files, but don't fool yourself. Picking numbers at random is not necessarily as good as using a system. There is a hit frequency, but you're only going to hit less frequently if you're creating systems that give you only one pick to play. But, what kind of hit frequency do you expect to have if you're playing new random numbers on every draw? It's important to have consistency when playing.... [ More ]

You're right: every lottery draw is essentially independent, and while analysis might find patterns, these are coincidental in the context of random draws. Many systems aim to reduce choices to a single best guess, but in truth, any single-pick system has the same odds as any other because each draw is a fresh event. So, choosing numbers at random can indeed be just as effective as using a complex system, especially if minimizing time and effort is a priority. This straightforward approach avoid... [ More ]

It seems that a hit is a hit, regardless of how you arrived at your pick. Every system is coincidental at best, which would include picking random numbers. It is with that in mind that I always aimed for creating systems that ended with just 1 pick... a best guess . After years of studying the past draws, it seems that any system breaks down on hit frequency, unless of course you are picking a bunch of numbers for each game (with associated costs erasing any wins over time) or throwing out all s... [ More ]
