Instead of replaying the entire Quick Pick unchanged, use it as a source of digits:

Keep one or two digits from the QP. Replace the weakest digit using your positional analysis. Compare the QP digits against your hot/cold positional rankings. If the QP contains digits that have been absent across multiple states, they may be worth retaining in your next play not because they're due, but because they align with your structural tracking method.

For Pick-3, a plan of attack I have considered is looking at the least recent exact winning combinations, especially if they have gone 25+ years without winning (once-daily draws) or 12+ years without winning (twice-daily draws). The law of averages has to catch up to the dry numbers at some point.

I have notebooks with results from the year 2000 and each time I'm playing I go look at today's date and past results. There is a pattern and I noticed it when I first started playing. I've won every month since the year started doing it like that. I also check the results of the other games to see if anything stands out from the list I make. They are, but only because most of the tickets are QPs.

I use a histogram, with the numbers that appear most frequently in the future , not in the past!

Why don't you skip a step and just play numbers that win in the future?

I prefer numbers I know the machines algorithm is capable of picking.

This might be unpopular but I usually do Quick Picks. I prefer numbers I know the machines algorithm is capable of picking. (Maybe Im superstitious but theres no such thing as true random in programming imo.)

When I do choose my numbers I button mash random combinations! I try to make it as random as possible so I'm not bias.

When I first started playing I used street numbers from places I'd lived. IIRC, all but one were birthday numbers. I think NY lotto only had 40 numbers at the time so it didn't matter much that most of my numbers were ones other people might play more often. At some point after that I switched to a combination of numbers that I figured most people wouldn't choose, hoping to increase my chance of being a sole winner.
