could be. in PA, the big winners are usually closer to harrisburg. unfortunately, there are prize chasers out there, and they will spend pretty much any amount of money in order to win a bigger amount of money.

at my old work, we had a guy who would buy 3 books a week of Grand-A-Day Holiday tickets, looking for the final top prize. he never found it, but each book would have $185 in winners. I think that's the standard in PA.

Slotplayer: The GLP (gauranteed lowest payback) is the same on today's ten dollar tickets as it has been since the first ten dollar ticket which was introduced in Mass. in 1999. The only difference from then to now, is the number of tickets produced for each game has gotten progressively larger. You pay 1,000.00 for a book of 100 tickets. and you WILL get back at LEAST 565.00 there will be ten 10.00 winners, five 15.00 winners, eight 20.00 winners, two 40.00 winners, one 50.00, and one 100.00... i've tried PA, OH, NY, MA, KY, WV, and IN. OH, IN, and KY have some good ones. WV has scratch keno, which i really like. PA and OH don't go for new game styles too often. OH won't even change the name sometimes.

I have played scratch tickets in CA, MA, NH and RI.In CA I had to cash the winning ticket in the same store I bought it from.I think MA had the best tickets, in payout percentage and design until we elected a conservative republican as governor. The design is still good but winning is really much harder now, especially on the $10 tickets. He even changed the keno games from 5 minute intervals to 4 minute intervals to increase state revenues. Now keno starts at 5am instead of the old time of 11am... [ More ]

yes it does. also, i know a guy who would ask us to keep losing scratch-offs whenever he hits the big 4 so he couls write them off as losses on his taxes.

I like to collect lotery tickets from all the states I visit. Right now I think I have lottery tickets from 32 different states and provinces. To me Oregon and Wash offer the best games. NY the worst. Kentucky and its cashball intrigues me too.
