More on Food

I eat turkey necks and I don't feel bad about it.  I have to eat all of my food boiled.  I can't eat very much beef or pork so I have to live off turkey, chicken and fish..  I try not to eat a lot but I like the turkey necks because I can make soups out of them or eat them by themselves.  I love oxtail soup but since they are so high now I have turkey neck soup.  Less cholesterol, too.  I also eat ground turkey.    It is almost impossible to find fresh fish unless you go fishing so I have to eat tuna fish which I really like.  I also like sardines.  I eat chicken wings because there is not a whole lot of meat on them but they have a good flavor.  I also put rice in the broth and have chicken and rice-sometimes-can't eat a lot of white things-rice, noodles, etc.  I told my husband that we need to put more vegetables in our food.  We grow some, buy some frozen and have some canned ones.  The only thing I get upset about is that THEY KNOW we need vegetables and when you shop for them, they are so high.  I also think partly it is the fault of the military who live here (active, retired and in between)  They have a guaranteed income of a certain level and these stores are getting theirs. They go to the store and they BUY!!  They don't joke around!  They buy everything and don't complain about the prices.  They have the commissary on post, and two super W-------s, Kro----s, Food L---n, Aldees and the $ store.!  They empty all of them on a monthly basis!  I try not to shop on their payday because I have gone to the store and whole shelves would be empty!!  I know when I was in the Army, I did the same thing.  There was just my first husband and me but once a month, I would go to the commissary and buy $500.00 worth of groceries.  I think about it now and realize I was so foolish.  We eat a lot of salads also.  We are going to have to try to change how we eat but I work in the day and he works at night so I think we are just snackers. Snack on this and snack on that.

Grocery Prices

We went to the W- -- - -t to buy groceries and I was so disgusted.  A pack of chicken WINGS was selling for $7.57 cents.. They used to have those buttery flavered rolls that is in their deli department for 5 large for 2.50.  Now they are 4 large for $2.88.  I must say, I passed those in a hurry.  Grocery prices are outrageous!  Generic freezer bags were $1.78 for 13.  A watermelon (small) is almost $6.00.  A 1-lb block of cheese is $5.88.  I bought ramein noodles (15 cents a pack) and of course my meat staple-turkey necks. (3.00 for a pack of 4..I always look for the large ones.)  Can't find the wings and when you do they are almost $6.00 for 1 of them.  I had to buy something to make lunches with so I bought 2 pks of luncheon meat for $5.00.  4 lbs of the lean ground beef sells for $17.50 or more. A 10 lb bag of Potatoes is $5.00. A gallon of milk is $4.00.  If I had children, I would have three jobs.  I don't know how people make it.

Playing Off Double Vtracs

Example 1

When a double vtrac falls, (I'll try to use examples )..you can only play so many ways:

For example:  say a double vtrac falls 533.  (Tn's yesterday) and you have at least 2 due vtracs..in this case, we had the 2 (out 4), the 4(out 2), and the 1(0,5).  The "linking" vtrac (from what fell previously) would be one of three choices:  the 5 vtrac to come back, the 3 vtrac to come back or the 33 vtrac pair to come back.

Vtrac set up would look like this:

  • 2 4 1
  •    3
  • 5 3 3        <-----to come back the 5, the 3 or the 33.

In this case, the 33 vtrac came back with the 2 vtrac which was out the longest (4 draws.  The clue was the due digit ..a 6.

Example 2

Let me use ky mid's draws for the next example:

Their vtrac on Thursday mid was 511 (905).  Their due vtracs were 2(1,6) out 3, 4(3,8) out 2 and 3(2,7).

their vtrac set up would have looked like this for this morning:

  • 2  4  3
  •  1,  5
  • 5  1  1 <-------- to come back would have been the 5, the 1 or the 11 pair.

In this case they brought the 1 vtrac with the 2 and the 3 vtrac.   Normally if I pick one from the bottom, then I would have had vtrac pairs 24,23 and 43 from the top.  My due digit was a 6 so i could have eliminated the 43 vtrac pair.  so now I have 24 and  23 vtrac pairs left. That gives me vtracs 124 and 123.   That is 16 numbers.  I normally will then try to use the root sums to narrow down my choices and/or the description list of what is due:

They had:

  • 2 carried  <--to get this I would have had to use 2 vtracs from the bottom
  • all even <--in both vtracs 123 and 124, there are only 2 even numbers
  • o carried-<this means I don't use any numbers or vtracs to come back. I play off the top only. so I eliminate this one.
  • wild match   <------both of my even choices are both wild matches.

Conclusion:  play 068 and 026.

The root sums were 1,9,8 and 2.     The 8 would have matched.

Example three:

Don't use any of them to come back and just play the top three vtracs.

Example 4.

Make double vtracs out of the ones on the top and play them with each other.  For example:

Vtrac Set-up:

  • 2,3,4
  •    2
  • 5 1 1 <---this is the double vtrac that fell but say it does NOT match the middle digit.

What you can do then is to make the 223 or 224 vtracs and filter from there. or double the other 2 and play with the 2 vtrac and FILTER using your root sums and your descriptions of what is due if you have them. This method depends heavily on a long overdue vtrac pair or trio.

More later..Good Luck!

I appreciate the comments

Thank you guys for the comments.  I understand all but where I live "card crime" seems to be very high.  BOA puts your picture on their cards but thieves have found a way to take the picture off and put their own on there.  One lady got taken for 15,000.00 over a week-end/holiday period.  I have seen people go in Walmarts and try to buy merchandise with "questionable cards". people will take your money if you leave your card in the machine. Here, people seem to be desperate or something..I don't know but I watch my things with a "hawk eye".  The attitude by many is that stealing is okay.  I don't steal and that is why I get very, very angry when someone takes something from me.  My Dad always told us, "If its not worth asking for, then its not worth having."  I try to help folks out when I can but when they start asking ALL of the time, I start saying no.

Banks

I had the experience of looking at Bank of America (2 different accounts), 2 different customers.  In one instance, the bank charged an individual over 300.00 in bank fees by presenting the same item for payment 10 times in a row and the second account had a theft (left card in machine) and the person behind took money out.  In that instance for the money taken out, the bank had already charged 25.00 per day for 5 days straight and then on the 6th day charged 35.00.  Are the banks making some of the failed mortgages on the backs of the poor?  I think so.  To continue to charge the individual EVERYDAY for the same item to me is stealing from people.  Remember, same bank, different people. Just a word of warning.

Wild Match Numbers

these numbers fall fairly regular in the P3.  they avg somewhere between every 4-6 draws.  but if you don't see one of them in a 7 day stretch, it is "due".

Wild Match-is not a double and has no consecutive digits.

Disgruntled Employee Tells on Super Rich

A computer programmer got mad and downloaded ALL of the secret overseas accounts of wealthy people who live inside the US who are funneling their wealth outside of US borders in an attempt to dodge paying more taxes.  Gee, they should have given him a raise and he would still be loyal.  Anyway, he SOLD the information to the IRS and to the German government.  Now the IRS will begin their hearings tomorrow.  Supposedly they doged taxes to the tune of 20 Billion dollars.  That's a lot of cheese.

Maybe some of them will get theirs.  Wonder what the penalties will be if they are found guilty?

Why Is Our Country So Backwards?

I am simply amazed at the US.  It is one of the main leaders in technology, healthcare, etc. but our country is so backwards it is frightening.  Other countries seem to be able to forecast things better than the US and they make appropriate changes beforehand.  For example, use of the police.  In our country the police are always running around doing traffic stops, writing speeding tickets. Some states seem to be just now using the camera technology which will free up some of those police from writing tickets.  That technology has been in use in Germany for well over 30 years.  Their police do not roll around wasting time writing speeding tickets.  Medical-many procedures are actually tested and used overseas before they get to the US (which may take 20+ years).  Our medical system is wicked.  I agree with Hillary.  EVERY AMERICAN SHOULD HAVE AFFORDABLE HEALTHCARE!  I will talk mainly about Germany because I was there for about 10 years.  When people get sick or injured, they are able to go to the doctor and they don't have to worry about the bill.  They have been paying it ever since they started working.  They also get 6 weeks per year vacation-paid.  When they die, their funeral is already paid for.  Why can't our country get it together and at least give us affordable health care in the form like a type thing like social Security is set up?  We could begin making payments from the time we get our first job and continue until we stop some 65 years later and when EVERYONE has to pay it, it makes it cheaper for all.  I just don't understand it.  Well maybe I do.  M-O-N-E-Y!  Medicines here also cost too much.  When Walmart started the $2.00 perscription thing it really helped a lot of people and I am glad for that.  I have been tracking my husband's medicine for the past 5 years.  It has more than doubled in price because it is a life saving drug.  It started at 155.00 per month and now it is over 332.00 per month.  But in Canada, it is only about $125.00 per month.  So someone is making M-O-N-E-Y!

Schools-they need to bring back "the trades".  When a student graduates from high school, they should have a skill.  In Germany, they start them early. When they go to middle school, they start learning about different jobs and they must choose one career path before they leave middle school with the option to change 1 more time before they graduate from high school.  Our schools should be so focused.  Everyone is not college material but everyone should have a skill that they can do well.  I feel that lack of concentration on the skills/technical path contributes greatly to the drop out rate.   Being able to do something well increases self-esteem and when children like what they do in school, they will come everyday!   Our schools are being burdened with testing under the "No Child Left Behind Mandate".  You can test a child until they shut down.  When they shut down, it is over.  Why can't some of those tests be in automotive mechanics, carpentry, food service, masonry, healthcare, etc?  The testing now is all academically  focused but face it folks, everyone is not cut out for college nor does everyone want to go to college.  But with a careers path during high school and 2 additional years guaranteed (free) at a technical or trade school after high school-something like that will definitely help the drop out rate and help our kids actually be "ready to work"  when they finish. They will be armed with the confidence and know-how to get the job done. Programs like these exists in Germany and probably many other countries but not here-America get it together (we used to do something like this but gave it up because someone believes ALL children are college material)..the future of our country is at stake!

Gasoline consumption-why is GM not going to have an electric car until 2010?  Poor planning and not keeping an eye out for what is actually happening in the consumer market.  They closed 4 plants that made SUV's and the large trucks only recently.  They should have been ready for this day.  I wonder if Congress is going to "bail" them out again with our money?

How do you feel about some of these issues?

Obama has selected a Committee To Determine VP Candidates

Smart Man!!  That way he will make the final choice but he will in the mean time be getting the type of information he needs to make an intelligent decision. I hope they don't forget to look for dirt.  Hillary has said openly that she will accept VP if offered.  Something ..seems to be off..can't put my finger on it.  Bill can play at the kinds of games he wants to play at. Fla and Mich seated for 1/2 vote

Fla and Mich went to Hillary and they counted for 1/2 vote.  Senater Obama resigned from his church.  I can only imagine from seeing those few blips on the televison how entertaining that church has been over the years. To me, a church must use restraint in dealing with political issues because it brings to question "Who Are They Really Serving?"  It is alright to comment on political issues specially if they appear to be unfair, however, a whole sermon complete with theatrics is going too far.  It is sad when a man's worst enemy seems to be his Church.

IN THE LAST DAYS, MANY SHALL COME IN MY NAME, FOLLOW THEM NOT.

US Gas Prices

I looked at a graph on the US Gas Prices Website and there were two areas of high spikes both under GW Bush, Jr.  He ,even though not single handedly ,is to blame because HE IS THE ONE IN CHARGE!  Everyone knows that the Captain is ultimately responsible for what happens to his ship and this one is sinking under George.  If I made $4.00 a gallon money, I wouldn't mind paying it..but alas..I don't and I am sure many don't.  To see how gas prices have affected us, the town rolls itself up at around 6:30 in the evening..no joy riding or anything too much. I used to see the young kids riding in their cars..not too much anymore.  My business has just about pooped out because no one has money to spend.  I really don't expect things to get better but I do expect for them to become tolerable.  90% of Americans are now saying that the cost of gas has impacted them negatively.
