Went to a health job fair

Published:

Read in the newspaper that they were having a health job fair  today for people working in the health field in hospitals, or other care facilities, or people interested in going into these professions. There were recruiters from all over United States and Canada.

Alot of people showed up to attend this.  I've volunteered at a hospital and nursing home but never worked there. In the future I may though. If I was to ever travel to work. I would like to try Alberta,  Canada, possibly or California or Connecticut in the United states. Maybe.

Are you able to get a grant to take a course in a health care field? Elder care is a growing field in many areas. People often want to stay in their own homes instead of relying on long-term care facilities. It takes a lot of patience, strength and understanding. Sometimes people who don't want to work in nursing go into radiology and become technicians working with mammography or other types of imaging. That can also be rewarding. All of these careers will require hours of training and studying, but if you feel yourself being pulled in that direction..go for it! I hope you find what you're looking for wherever you live!

I don't want to be a nurse, looking after patients is too stressful and hard. I have thought of radiology, but I don't like being in a classroom I tried that before. I'm not sure what I'm going to do. I'll figure it out later. Very tired, had a long day.
