Got temporary work

Went for a job interview yesterday again with an employment agency.  Got a temporary job at a store warehouse. Putting security tags on clothing. I had a large volume of clothes to do. What a hard job.And alot of standing involved.  They definitely should pay more for that work. Hope to find better work later.

Glad you found something. Does Canada have a minimum wage? Here in the US, there is a Federal Minimum wage and then each State can adopt that or set their own, if it is higher.

That's great! In 1973 I was hired by Kelly Girl to work for one week to cover someone while she was on vacation. That lasted until 1994. So you never know. Good luck!

Minimum wage in Canada is $7.25 an hour I believe, and people can't afford to live on it. The warehouse job I've been at is $9.00. But should be higher for the amount of work involved. When the company takes out CPP and the rest , the hourly wage is even lower by the time you get paid.

Very tired, had a long day.
