I've had negative events in my life when I was a kid, and through my adult years, as I'm sure many people have. Positive and negative things that happen are part of life. But I never let things in the past affect my life in the present, certainly not panic attacks and anxiety.
Live in the present, not in the past. Whatever happened in the past is over and gone.

I do the best I can everyday. The same as anybody else.

I knew someone here in town who had Agoraphobia.  He had a FM transmitter and would feed whatever audio he wanted to the xmitter and would leave his house and listen to his station.

Later on he got a hold of a channel 15  TV transmitter and would feed whatever video he wanted to it and would watch on a hand held television when he went out on errands like grocery shopping and what not.  This was back in the day of analog TV and nobody ever knew about it because there were no TV signals that got into town here and everyone has cable.

Of course it is illegal but he never got caught.  He was a colorful character and died 10 or 15 years ago.  He also had a couple few cats and his girlfriend to keep him ok.

Circa 1990 I used to go to his house to watch "The Simpsons"  Off the sattelite feed before it aired on TV.

Anyway  he kept himself busy to reduce the frequency of the attacks

Where do people buy transmitter's?

Well it is probably illegal in Canada also.  I really don't know much about the Canadian DOC.  You may be able to set up a low power FM xmitter legally like you can in the U.S. but I would check out the Canadian laws first.

Just thought of this too.  Depending on how your cell phone plan works you may be able to stream video to your cell phone.  That option was not available back in the day.
