Wouldnt it be Nice if Every Lottery Was Free??It Could Be: Cigarettes...

How much is the State Lottery Revenue?? Perhaps 30 BILLION?? And that´s all 40 states...How much is the Cigarette Industry Revenue? JUST IN THE USA ALONE....About the Same...
I was surfing the Internet and i read that 30 billion packs of cigarettes are SOLD EVERY YEAR...Multiply that times: $4 per pack....And is: 120 Billion dollars each year...More than the State Lottery RAKES IN NATIONALLY ACROSS THE USA...Now i dont know if those packs are the same packs that have: 12 bars of cigarettes or if is a larger one...
Would you like to go in your pijamas to the lottery retailer and withdraw: $500 or $1,500 with just showing your I.D...
And remember:
There is: Pick3, there is Pick4, there is Pick5, there is Pick6, there is Powerball and there is: SCRATCHOFFS...Each one is a different fountain...
So what if instead of having: Pick5, Pick6 & Scratchoffs,, you only had: Pick3 & Pick4...Let the Revenue from Pick5, pick6 and Scratchoffs go to Pick3, Pick4....Remember this is WITHOUT CIGARETTES and this is ONLY THE USA ALONE...What do you got? a HUGE Pick3 & Pick4 Exchange....
However Read this article i looked it up on google.com:
http://wiki.answers.com/Q/How_many_packs_of_cigarettes_are_sold_annually_in_the_US
that page is pointing out to this page:
http://www.davehitt.com/2005/reasonableconclusions.html
And that pages says the following:
QUOTING:
¨Only a quarter of the population smokes, so we multiply that number by four to get the annual consumption of a single smoker. It comes out to 8,368, which breaks down to 418 packs, which in turn breaks down to 1.15 packs a day. That seems a little low, but it's not unreasonable, so we'll go with it. (One advantage of this approach is that we're don't need precise numbers. Reasonable approximations are enough to draw general conclusions, especially if our calculations err on the side of caution.)
Multiplying 418 packs times 70,000,000 smokers (a little less than a quarter of the US population, again erring on the side of caution) gives us 29,288,000,000 packs of cigarettes sold every year. Multiply that by $40 a pack, and we come up with a cost of $1,171,520,000,000. That's right folks, according to this study, cigarette smoking costs the US 1.17 trillion dollars PER year¨....
If this is article is TRUE, Cigarette Smokers consume: 1.2 Trillion dollars in Cigarettes IN THE USA ALONE....And the Lottery in the USA Nationally ONly RAKES IN 30 BILLION PER YEAR....
Could you imagine if those: 1.2 TRILLION DOLLARS was used on only: Pick3 & Pick4...JUST IMAGINE...
Comments
JUST IMAGINE...And the Lottery Nationally in the USA just rakes in: $30 billion dollars....LOL...If the guy is telling the truth...
The USA might be able to take it because after all: the USA is the 4th largest populated country in the world but it sure might be WOBBLING/Lurching/Swaying from side to side...But you could not FEED that kind of stuff to a country like Ecuador or Argentina, you could not not with that kind of money...And want to know something more LAUGHABLE...That yeah is a Pick3 or Pick4 Exchange but everytime the: jackpots are not won, the aggreggatte money STACKS UP FROM DAY TO DAY...
