I remember being 14 years old and discussing politics and  religion with my parents. And it made my blood boil. And it made their blood boil. There seems  to be something about  those two topics that makes people go up in flames. Best friends are ready for fist fights.  Then, you  leave those topics alone, and you're friends again.

I hope that those that are offended or assaulted by my personal views are aware of the fact that it's not personal. I am a gentle person who does not generally go on the offensive, who usually keeps fairly quiet on issues, because there are so many angles, so many sides to view a situation from, and every  time I think I have something figured out, somebody  comes and shows me another side.
