I hope the tickets are sold out and 10 winners take home $1 million. This is a good story.

Just6, since the rules of the game award 10 lucky ticket holders one million each, indeed there will be 10 one million dollar winners. You are indeed a master of the obvious.

Perhaps I'll give in and buy 1 or 2 tomorrow before they sell out. I just haven't had one of those lucky feelings so I've gone to different stores this week. I stand by the terminal and try to get a vibe. Nothing happens..no bright lights, no spiritual music...no warm & fuzzy feeling. Maybe I need to stop thinking about raffles and start dating again. Nah, a raffle ticket will be a better gamble.

JXP: Maybe if you buy a bag of chocolate donuts, eat all of them and stand there beside the machine, you will get a chocolate buzz and misinterpret it as a sign from the lottery gods. Then you will go ahead and splurge for a raffle tix and win the dam thing !!!! DD

DD Ate boxes of those during munchie attacks in 1968. Now I only go for the gourmet dark chocolate...another reason to win a big jackpot! BTW dark chocolate is now being promoted as a health food, so throw away all that oat bran folks! In any case, I had a terrible day at work so I finally gave in and took $100 out of the ATM to buy 5 raffles tickets tonight and, guess what? They sold out sometime on Thursday. Not sure when, but I'm sure we'll be reading about it tomorrow. Thurs morning there were about 179,000 left so I figured I'd be buying 2 or 3 of the last 50,000. On the bright side....I figure that they sold 1,250,000 tickets and 10 people will win $1M. So 1,249,990 other people (who spent the $20 bucks) won't win either!! I would have been happy winning $100,000 or even $10,000. But IMHO they should have offered some smaller prizes like 50 $1,000 winners or 100 $500 winners. Good luck to everyone who bought tickets. I'll be sending you positive energy on New Year's Day!
