The TV stations which air the nightly Kentucky Lottery drawing program in the state's three largest media markets has changed, effective today.

In Louisville, the drawing program will move to WBKI/The CW Louisville. Lexington viewers will now be able to watch the drawings on the CWKYT. Players in Northern Kentucky will see the drawing show on WKRP-TV.

Affiliates will remain the same in Bowling Green (WBKO) and Paducah (WDKA). A new affiliate has been added in Evansville (WAZE), while the stations which carried the drawings in Hopkinsville (WKAG) and Ashland (WVAH) will no longer air the show. Players statewide will also still be able to hear the drawings on 84 WHAS-AM radio.

"We're proud to partner with these stations to carry the drawing program to all parts of the Commonwealth," said the Kentucky Lottery's Vice President of Communications, Government and Public Relations Chip Polston. "A segment of our players consistently say it's important to be able to watch those balls come out of the machines, and while several other states no longer air a drawing program, we're glad to continue to provide the service."

The drawings will air seven days a week. On Wednesday and Saturday nights, viewers will also see the Powerball and Win For Life drawings in addition to the Kentucky Lottery show.

Of course, Kentucky Lottery winning numbers will continue to be available for viewing on the Web on Lottery Post's Kentucky Lottery Results page (www.lotterypost.com/results/ky).

If you have direct TV what channel is WKRP-TV?

Sorry - WKRP isn't on satellite. I noticed your profile said you live in Clarksville - is that Indiana? If so the new Louisville affiliate (WBKI) should work for you.

Chip, Welcome to Lottery Post ! Thanks again for getting the mid-day KY results posted earlier !!!!!

"Littleoldlady" lives in Clarksville, TN, but I'm sure that clear channel WHAS -840 A.M. is loud and clear  in her area.
