Powerball Matrix Change - April 15, 2015
It seems to me that, yet again, they're trying to fix something that wasn't broken. The problem is that, in their eyes, it IS broken. Sales are so bad that pretty much every state is suffering. For instance, South Dakota Lottery relies on Powerball for 50% of their total revenue. Ultimately that's a diversification issue, but it just goes to show how much these states are dependent on jackpot-driven games. If you read some of the lottery commission notes concerning sales for any given juri

Seriously Pick 4 is not that hard,it's 14 draws in a week and if I told you I hit 9 time last week
are you profitable, and really playing real life. Or are you make believe playing.. even playing online at .25box.25 straight every state that's about $630 a day. You would need a straight daily for this to even be worthwhile.. if your system is any good. You can say beforehand. What state. What numbers. Not just posting 21 numbers. Then after hand saying. Well box hit in Ontario, box hit in ky, box hit in South Dakota. If I'm wrong about your link above, Preach on it.

Would you move to a non income tax state if you won?
If I would move... 1. Wyoming, South Dakota, Alaska Nevada WAS on the list at one time, but I sort of dropped it. Otherwise, stay in Wisconsin unless Scott Walker gets relected. Minnesota is back on the list. I've developed a liking for Hawaii, free fruit all year. Maybe the northeast. Cali was off the list, looking better now..... Maybe Australia, New Zealand, Canada My favorite piece of land is in wyoming. Tax is NOT the number one issue. I defferred my vote.

Why They Chose Education...
You're looking at lottery revenues by combining all the state lotteries into one National lottery and assuming all the states would pool their profits. And you're not considering how each state lottery began. Each state had to specify where the lottery profits would go to get a majority of the voters to pass their lottery incentives and education was the logical choice. $30 Billion dollars per year could had bought itself: 20 ports each costing: $1 Billion dollars and each of those ports wil

Best place for a large Lottery Winners to Live
But then you have to deal with living in Wyoming and it's bordering states. Sorry to anyone living in those states, but IMO there's not really anything I could picture myself doing in any of there, plus I wouldn't think the weather would be too great. You may also feel like an outcast if you weren't white (the demographics there are like 96% white). Personally I'd go with Texas as there are major cities with very nice places as well as areas of the state with open country where you can be sec

Winning the Jackpot and taxes.
OK, I live in Wisconsin, a big tax State. I would take the Cash amount and move to Wyoming or South Dakota without a State income tax. If I take the annuity I have to file with Wisconsin every year for the rest of my life. Now, seeing that I want to give a large amount to charity anyway, could I say split my winnings between me for my part, and the other half to a new Charitable foundation? MarkP

Question? Sunday Lottery?
South Dakota sold me a ticket on Sunday, but wouldn't cash a winner on that day.... I believe that Colorado had some strange law like that. (somebody correct me) Wis draws P3,P4, Badger 5 and Supercash on sunday. Illinois Draws Little lotto on Sunday... (we are sinners) :-) MarkP

Premium members: can I get your help?
I am looking to shore-up any loose ends in the LP results database and add any remaining data that is missing. In other words, I would like to ensure that we have the complete drawing history of every single game, back to the very first drawing. Most games have this already, but I'm sure there are some that have missing data, even if it is from 30 years ago. Here's where I can use your help: Since premium members have access to the entire LP database, I am looking for premium members to
