If you could play any US lottery from any state online would you switch to anonymous states?
Living in Utah without a lottery I have always gone up to Idaho to buy my lotto.... That is until last year when Wyoming got the lottery and has the option to remain anonymous. Even though Wy lottery doest have nearly as many draw games or any scratchers I Choose to play there because I want to be anonymous when I win. Wyoming will be getting Lucky For Life soon which I am excited about :}

What does your state use lottery money for ?
Idaho says they use it for schools, but I just saw on the news this morning that they need something like a quarter of a billion to upgrade facilities. They're going to try to get a bond voted in, which is exactly what they did before the lottery. So where is all the lottery money going?

Raffles (states and durations)
Idaho has one that starts sometime in October and usually sells out by Christmas. I don't think it's a good one though, so check the prizes this year before you drive all this way. They've been tweaking the prize structure and last year's was especially bad from my POV. Hopefully it will be different this year.

How would you react?
Update on this. I took people's advise and drove to Wyoming and got my own tickets. So, if in the next 4 draws someone in Wyoming hits powerball and someone in Ohio wins powerball and the Ohio ticket is never claimed, you'll know who it is. LOL. I also might add, in order to answer the question of who cares if it is a anonymous state, you just want to win.. A little history, I first used a friend in Idaho, but she moved, then I used a friend in Arkansas, but she quit her job, which broug

Who Do You NOT Want To See Win a Top Lottery Jackpot Prize?
I'd have been upset if someone from Utah won on a ticket they purchased in Idaho. I already see too many of them winning our big scratchoffs and games like WildCard.

Very good time to win the mega millions tonight
Click HERE to visit the Idaho Bar Association lawyer referral request page. The cost for a half-hour initial consultation is only $35 ... which I think is pretty much the same as other bar associations in other states. You'd need to ask them to refer you to a lawyer who specializes in lottery law and trusts. As much as I researched my site, I'm sure that lawyers probably have other (and possibly better) tricks up their sleeve.

60 days to decide if lump sum or annuity, 180 days to claim. Huh?
In Idaho you make the choice for Cash or Annuity when you go in to collect your prize. The Cash/Annuity option doesn't show up on any of our playslips.

Lucky For Life
I was going to study that game, as it's offered here in Idaho, but then I realized that the only prize I'm really interested in is the jackpot $7000/ week for life, which hardly anyone wins. Somebody won on November 19 but I think that was the only time this year. So not sure what's up with that, but it's not very encouraging to me, especially at $2 per line.

When I hit a jackpot I will...
Oh, Spring products, nice! So you're in Eastern Washington? Perhaps we could trade places? I want -desperately- to be playing Washington's Match 4 game. I SO WISH Idaho could adopt a game like that, and I even wrote a letter to the lottery commission about it once, but no.... they had to create a lame game like Weekly Grand . I plan on moving back to Washington as soon as I can, as my husband died last year and my son turns 18 next summer. Husband and son were 2 reasons I had to stay her

PA Lottery Proposed Play at Pump Will Accept Credit Cards
We can use credit cards for lottery in Idaho. It's up to each retailer whether they want to accept them or not. The largest c-store, Jackson's, does not take credit for lottery and neither does Fred Meyer nor Rite Aid. But Albertson's does at the customer service counter, the liquor stores (state run) do, and Stinker stations also. I like getting my 1% back on lottery purchases and feel like I make out like a bandit when I can buy my lottery at a store that one of my cards is paying 5% back that
