Anyone watch E! True Hollywood Story: Curse of the Lottery show?Reply
I think a reality show documenting the first year after someone's BIG win would do very well, and I speak from the field of entertainment. It would also help if the person was young, at least in their 20s or 30s, and somewhat attractive, but either way it would be interesting. And when I say BIG win, I mean anything over 50 mil as a lump sum. I'm from NY, and in my neck of the woods, everyone has a million bucks, so that wouldn't really be good tv.

After a big multi-million win how long would you wait to come forward?
It always fascinates me to see how long some of the really big winners take to come forward to claim their big jackpots. So I'm just curious of my fellow members here, how long would you take to come forward and why? Please explain.

Well I noticed that small towns in Michigan win but mostly only the ones in the lower half of the lower peninsula. S.E. Michigan (Metro Detroit) gets most of the winners overall (population) When you get in the Upper Peninsula the big winners are in Delta county with a big Mega Millions win and the biggest Club Keno win in the U.P. Long time ago I went to the racetrack 3 or 4 times a week. I'd pick up a racetrack friend once in awhile. One time he hit big for 20k. He hit the superfecta carryover. That's 4 horses in row picked in order for those who don't know. We got an escort to my car later that night. He ended up throwing me 200 maybe 300 bucks. Thanks Surge a great big Congrats to you for your big wins!...IF I had played 567 several times for a dollar exact I'd have had a great big win too but I never got that part about playing what you like several times! NC had 589 today I missed it but did get a $100 win on this scratch card! Plus $5 $3 on the 2 dollar cards for a total win of $108 for today...happy for that!

Places that sell lottery are entitled to financial reward when people win big. In an effort to make more diverse lottery combinations played at their place, and ensure some big win, would they not hint people in case their combination was already chosen in this place?
