LP Promotion
It means you have made a lot of posts so far. There is apparently a benchmark number of posts for each promotion level. We don't know what those benchmarks are. Only TODD knows.

Florida Lottery Holiday Millionaire Raffle
It must be averaging about 10K tickets a day now. I bought a ticket at 9am this morning and it was low 180,000. My co-worker bought one at 6pm tonight and hers was 189,000ish. By the end of tonight, another 1,000 will sell. I wonder if it is the upcoming deadline on the second chance promotion or if people are just buying more tickets at the final drawing gets closer.

The Lottery Truck
The last time I saw a lottery truck was 4 years ago. It was doing a promotion for some new tickets. coming out in In. they give away coupons buy so many of some of the games you get one free. Now, all my friends here came from the north, therefore we would been happy to see Lottery any thing here. In ALA. We take a road trip to get tickets across the state line, 2-1/2 hours.

New promotion from the New York lottery!
Ohio have been doing that with their Classic Lotto and Rolling Cash5 games which are $1 per ticket but I can't figure their angle. Their play slips only have five boards and to get a free ticket you have to have 10 plays on one ticket and the only way to do that is to ask for a $10 QP. Either they want players to stop picking their own numbers or buy $5 worth of personal picks for two drawings which I don't qualify for the promotion.

New promotion from the New York lottery!
Anytime a state has to have a promotion to sell an expensive $5 lottery ticket, that means sales aren't as good as the state expected in the first place, and they have to resort to promoting the hell out of the game, to save face.

The new odds for Mega Millions have been a failure!
That's even easier to do in Ohio which is running a MM promotion buy 2 get 1 free. Buying 2 $1 tickets gets you 1 free which makes the cost of a ticket 67 .

Do most people buy MM &PB tickets the day of a draw or in advance?
Ohio has a MM promotion of buy 2 get 1 free when the jackpot is less than $100M if tickets are brought on the day of the drawing after 7:30PM so the average price of a ticket is reduced to 67 during that period. Players who want the cheaper tickets has to buy them then or pay the regular price. If other states have similar promotions on some of their games I'm sure it effects when their players buy tickets too.

Back to minimum jackpots again on MM and PB
With Ohio's MM promotion of buy 2 get 1 free as long as MM jackpot is under $100M, you won't be the only one buying MM tickets for the smaller jackpots. That works out to 67 a line.

Why is the Ohio Classic Lotto so difficult to win?
Ohio is selling more than twice as many MM tickets as OCL tickets and from what I have observed many players aren't buying their MM tickets after 7:30PM on draw night to take advantage of the buy 2 get 1 free promotion.

CA Superlotto plus 2nd chance question
Is that unique to CA Lottery? Many state lottery come up with half baked promotion schemes that have unforeseen problems that aren't addressed because they figure the odds of them happening doesn't require them being dealt with.
