Judging from the payout amounts after each drawing, OCL has as much attention as it has ever gotten and I think it has peaked. With the buy two get one free promotion Ohio has for MegaMillions tickets now that it has reset, regular OCL players may be buying more MM tickets instead.

Do you ever feel like you've won the "lottery" in other areas of your life??
Maybe you got a job or a promotion just when you needed to or wanted to, or maybe you bought a car that wasnt new but was in such good condition it was like it was new, or you and your spouse had gotten pregnant just when you were thinking it would never happen. 100% The private co's all promise the lottery officials they will increase profits. If they offer games that make it more difficult to win you got your higher profits. But then the players start to realize nobody wins anymore, and the sales go way down. Then the lottery officials start to panic and come up with some crazy promotion, but they still don't improve the odds which is the only real way to improve profits, because then more people will play... Idiots.

I buy a week's worth of drawings for the Texas Lottery, MM and PB. Since the PB is on up there, I thought I'd go ahead and splurge on an extra number/line, bringing the total of my PB ticket up to $12. When the clerk handed me the tickets, I saw an extra one f/ PB - Texas has a promotion for a free ticket if you spend ten bucks on the game.

oh an update on this. I saw in the store today they had a poster up promoting this game, apperenly its som sort of promotion, not jackpot. lol the goes usually suck, i just noticed the $1 mill prize before they had time to stick up som e posters. cant find any info online about it tho. swould seem had, sticking a PDF link on a website.

I agree 100% Maddog but what can you do. This was there explanation. I still pissed off about it. But as you know, things tend to don't go well for the comman man. My guess this is there way of throwing a wrench in the game, to make it harder to hit, given that they're are offering double the payout with this promotion.

I know the red ball isn't a brand new promotion. I've read the news article here, this is the second year. But last years promo is irrelevant to what it is now. And we are only talking about the Pick 3 and Pick 4 being problematic.
