Predicting winning numbers? Fact or fiction?
Many events cannot be predicted with total certainty. We can predict only the chance of an event to occuri.e. how likely they are to happen, I respectfully disagree with that Statement...and here's why... A chance is an intangible characteristics associated with the event being measured... If you're able to predict the chance, that's also predicting the event... the murky conveyance is total certainty ... Certainty in your Statement presumably alludes to positive fruition ,

Reducing odds
Standard deviation is why Probability and odds are slightly different ways of expressing the same thing. Probability is the extent to which an event is likely to occur, measured by the ratio of the favorable cases to the whole number of cases possible. and Odds are defined as the probability that the event will occur divided by the probability that the event will not occur. and standard deviation is a quantity calculated to indicate the extent of deviation for a group as a whole The od

Reducing odds
By definition ~ The probability that an event will occur is the fraction of times you expect to see that event in many trials. Oookay, ..I hea ya,.. Coincidence or Synchronicity?
Hey Charloot For your consideration Dr Gustav Jung, Brilliant Swiss psychologist/meta-physician on the pathology of chance and synchronicity During his career, Jung furnished several different definitions of the term,[7] defining synchronicity as a hypothetical factor equal in rank to causality as a principle of explanation ,[8] an acausal connecting principle , acausal parallelism , and as the meaningful coincidence of two or more events where something other than the pro

Wheels
Single random outcomes cannot be predicted, that's a rule A random event in mathematics can't be predicted, that's the definition, but there are techniques and there is luck. I don't know of any mathematical function predicting a future random event. Even if it luckily does, the payout must be higher than the costs. Try roulette. Beat it, can you do that? I want to see your function.

1.5 BILLION lottery ticket scam
Running a scam like that would undermine the integrity of the game. I can't see the lottery officials willing to risks billions in annual profit over something like that. My hope is that the winner has sought out good legal and financial advice and is now in process of getting their affairs in order before moving on with their new life. Winning a lottery jackpot is a major event, winning a 1.5 Billion lottery jackpot is an event at a whole different level!
